Biography - Joseph E. Postma

Joseph E. Postma is owner and author of Climate of Sophistry. He earned a Masters Degree in Astrophysics, received in 2007. His graduate thesis is titled “The observation and analysis of the Cepheid SZ Tauri”. Postma got interested in the climate science debate because he used to believe in anthropogenic global warming and climate change. Postma wanted to better understand the science of global warming so that he could communicate and debate against “deniers” more knowledgeably. However, Postma experienced one of the greatest shocks and re-evaluations of his world-view when he discovered that the science which underlies global warming and anthropogenic climate change isn’t good science at all, but it is better described as merely the appearance of doing science.
