Michelle Malkin and Laura Ingraham Are Right: Obama's President, But He's NOT "a Nice Guy"

Mitt chose not to be personally confrontational and to treat Obama as an honorable man with whom he has policy differences instead of a clever con artist, and now it's up to the likes of Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin to pull back the curtain for the voters, for America's sake.

Last July, in " Why Mitt Romney needs to show voters the kind of person Obama really is (www.renewamerica.com/columns/gaynor/120717), I wrote:

"President Obama should not be renominated, much less reelected, because he's not fit to be President of the United States.

"The American people have been hoaxed, and they need to know it."

Republican presidential candidate has shown himself to be presidential in all three of this year's presidential debates and at the Al Smith Dinner.

After a shockingly poor first debate, President Obama came to fight for reelection in the last two.

Romney's plan obviously is to be presidential and win on economic issues.

That makes Romney very competitive, but it's NOT a guarantee of victory.

As I wrote in that article:

"Economic issues are very important, especially this year, to be sure, but they are not the only important issues.

"Character always matters, and hoaxers must be exposed, not extolled and rewarded.

"America needs a President (and United States Senators and Representatives) who's word can be trusted."

Team Obama has been attacking Romney's character and calling Romney a liar. Obama explained his dismal first debate performance by saying that Romney had lied and said that Romney had lied in the last two debates, and even demagogued on Romney's proposal to save the American auto industry.

Romney's failure to call out Obama lies is a mistake, especially with the liberal mainstream media firmly in Obama's corner.

For example, presidential candidate Obama famously pledged not to raise taxes on the middle class ("Let me be absolutely clear: if you are a family making less than $250,000 a year....you will not see your taxes go up") and then broke his pledge repeatedly, first by including in Obamacare taxes to be passed on to the middle class, such as the tax on medical device manufacturers, then by shamelessly having his Solicitor General argue to the United States Supreme Court that the Obamacare individual mandate really was a tax after publicly insisting that it was not before Obamacare was passed, to enable it to be passed.

That should not be excused as politics as usual.

As I wrote in that article:

"President Obama should not be...reelected, because he's not fit to be President of the United States.

"He's not running on his dismal record for the obvious reason: if the election becomes a referendum on his job performance, he will lose. He's running on likeability, because the liberal media establishment has sold the notion that he's a nice fellow, and claiming that his rival — presumptive 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romnery really is a bad guy, maybe even an unindicted felon.

"Michelle Malkin recently tweeted: 'Now that Obama's calling him a liar, tax cheat & felon, maybe Romney will finally stop calling O a "nice guy."'

"Laura Ingraham promptly retweeted that message.

"THOSE BOLD LADIES ARE RIGHT, MITT!

"BE BOLD TOO!"

In 2009 Malkin wrote Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks and Cronies, revised it after it had gone to the printer to report on ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief, gave 'special thanks to Anita MonCrief for her enormous courage and vigilance on ACORN corruption' in the acknowledgements part of her book, and stated on television during her book tour, 'The fact is that we owe. We owe so much to very brave people on the other side, some of them who have come over, ex liberals like Anita who understand the depths and the intricacy and the intimacy between and among those groups. But also between them and Barack Obama."

EXACTLY!

bama first made ACORN a census partner and after the Pimp and Pro Sting of James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles made support of ACORN political poison, Obama cleverly dropped ACORN as a census partner and signed the bill defunding ACORN.

Instead of scrutinizing Obama's ACORN ties and lies, the liberal media establishment moved on and pretended that ACORN had died instead of morphed and that there is nothing behind the curtain.

There's plenty. Of that, I'm certain.

As I wrote in that article:

"The 'intricacy and intimacy' between Obama and 'those groups' (especially ACORN/Project Vote) and his lies to conceal the truth about his relationships with them are the key to victory for Mitt Romney.

"Like the so-called Republican 'War on Women,' the notion that President Obama is a person of fine moral character is a hoax.

"Mitt, to make sure that you are elected (and with enough like-minded people in Congress to mitigate and/or undo the damage done during the Obama Administration), you better expose that hoax!

"Three possible reasons have been offered for your failure to do so yet:

1. Polling shows that people will react the wrong way to personal attacks on Obama's character..... So it will not work.

2. The case cannot be clearly made.

3. The liberal media establishment will not cover it.

"It WILL work if the attack on Obama's character is fact-based and that's what it should and can be.

"The case can be clearly made, with documentation as well as testimony."

The truth is that presidential candidate Obama blatantly lied about his relationship with ACORN during the last presidential debate in 2008.

The truth is that there was an illicit relationship between the Obama presidential campaign and ACORN/Project Vote.

The truth is that ACORN morphed instead of disappeared.

In "Time for October Surprise To Expose Obama Lies" (www.webcommentary.com/php/ShowArticle.php?id=gaynorm&date=081018), posted on October 18, 2008, I asked, "Can Obama and ACORN keep a lid on the whole truth about ACORN's relationship with Obama and the Obama presidential campaign up to Election Day 2008?" and "Can The New York Times whitewash the Obama/ACORN relationship the way it did the Obama/Ayers relationship?"

Tragically, the answers turned out to be the same: Yes.

It should not have been.

Ex-ACORN insider Anita MonCrief, then a black single mother of a toddler who had been working with The New York Times as a confidential source since the summer and providing information on what would have been a blockbuster Obama/ACORN pre-election expose, was not given the chance by The New York Times, ABC and CNN to prove that Joe the Plumber was so right about Obama and MonCrief did not then trust Fox News, so the McCain-Palin ticket went on to lose. "Higher up" at The Times chose to kill the expose (probably depriving their Stephanie Strom of a Pulitizer Prize). (We can be sure because Strom left MonCrief a voicemail and MonCrief kept it.) MonCrief chose to testify in a Pennsylvania ACORN case before Election Day 2008, but she was then a "liberal" and an Obama supporter who thought that the only problem was ACORN, so she declined a Fox News offer to bring her to New York to go on air on the days before Election Day 2008 to tell what she knew.

Since 2008 MonCrief evolved from "liberal" to "conservative" and Democrat to Republican. It was not an instantaneous transformation. She registered as a Republican this year. On Election Day 2008 she proudly wrote of trudging to the polls in the rain with her daughter to vote for Obama, but as Obama loaded up his Administration with ACORN types, MonCrief realized she had to do more — and did.

See MonCrief's "How This Reluctant Whistleblower Decided to Tell All" (http://hotair.com/archives/2009/10/17/how-this-reluctant-whistleblower-decided-to-tell-all/) and "Obama, ACORN and Stealth Socialism" (http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/29/obama-acorn-and-stealth-socialism-dire-domestic-threat/).

MonCrief posted the Obama donor list that demonstrates illicit coordination between the Obama presidential campaign and ACORN/Project Vote, but it is largely unknown. Read "Revealed: The Obama Donor List" posted on July 2, 2010 at http://hotair.com/archives/2010/07/24/revealed-the-obama-donor-list. It is documented as well as riviting.

As I wrote in that article:

"The truth is that Obama is a liar and the voters need to know it.

"Obama during the last of the three presidential debates:

'...with respect to ACORN, ACORN is a community organization. Apparently what they've done is they were paying people to go out and register folks, and apparently some of the people who were out there didn't really register people, they just filled out a bunch of names.

'It had nothing to do with us. We were not involved. The only involvement I've had with ACORN was I represented them alongside the U.S. Justice Department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.

'Now, the reason I think that it's important to just get these facts out is because the allegation that Senator McCain has continually made is that somehow my associations are troubling.'

"Obama was right...about the importance of facts.

"McCain was right about Obama having troubling associations.

"Obama's statement — 'My only involvement I've had with ACORN was I represented them alongside the U.S. Justice Department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.' — is a lie, not a fact.

"Yes, Obama represented ACORN in that lawsuit and the Clinton Justice Department predictably sided with ACORN.

"But that was NOT Obama's only involvement with ACORN.

"ACORN is the organization with which Obama has been associated throughout his adult life, as organizer, trainer, lawyer, funder and political beneficiary...and still Obama's Achilles heel.

"America can't afford for you to blow it, Mitt."

Nevertheless, Mitt chose not to be personally confrontational and to treat Obama as an honorable man with whom he has policy differences instead of a clever con artist, and now it's up to the likes of Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin to pull back the curtain for the voters, for America's sake.
