Rising Star Michele Bachmann Took on ACORN, Ready to Take on ACORN Man Obama

Of of the Republican presidential hopefuls, declared and undeclared, Bachmann appears to be the one most likely to expose the whole truth about Obama, ACORN, Project Vote and the liberal media establishment and that is exactly what America needs to recover from the damage all of them have done.

At CPAC 2011, the keynote speech was delivered by Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

Take it from a person who was listening carefully and watching closely a few feet away: Bachmann is for real.

At the GOP New Hampshire presidential debate, Bachmann shined and delivered the best line of the night: "Obama will be a one-term president."

That line was a big hit when she delivered it at CPAC 2011.

During the debate of seven Republican presidential hopefuls, it was Bachmann who earnestly called for the Reagan coalition--fiscal conservatives, foreign policy conservatives and social conservatives--to re-coalesce to make Obama a one-term president.

Full disclosure: I voted for Bachmann in the CPAC straw poll won by Ron Paul.

I did so because she's not only right on the key issues, but genuine, energetic and courageous.

On May 14, 2009, BEFORE the ACORN "Pimp and Pro" sting began much less was reported, Bachmann displayed her foresight and courage by teaming up with ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief to fight ACORN.

Fox News reported (http://conservativexpress.blogspot.com/2009/05/michele-bachmanns-latest-acorn-press.html):

"Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann called on Congress Thursday to block ACORN's access to federal housing funds, citing repeated charges of voter registration fraud against the low-income advocacy group.

"The Republican congresswoman, flanked by an ACORN whistleblower and an attorney who worked on an ACORN case in Pennsylvania, escalated a media offensive against the group, which is a favorite target of conservatives who claim liberals are unjustly protecting a dysfunctional organization by allowing it access to taxpayer money.

"'ACORN, as you know, is no stranger to the spotlight,' Bachmann said outside the Capitol. 'Yet no matter how many times prosecutors investigate and even indict ACORN and their employees, they emerge unblemished as far as the federal government is concerned from having access to federal tax dollars.'

"Bachmann, who hit the same themes in an op-ed in the Washington Times on Wednesday, complained that House Democrats killed her amendment to block organizations indicted for voter fraud from receiving federal housing money. She said ACORN has received at least $53 million in tax dollars since 1994, and that she will have new legislation in the coming weeks.

"'We simply believe that the bar needs to be very high,' she said."

On her Facebook page Bachmann posted this: "Fox News coverage of my press conference today with former ACORN employee, Anita MonCrief, and attorney Heather Heidelbaugh where we explained ACORN's ongoing fraudulent behavior and the consequences of continuing to funnel taxpayer dollars to the organization."

Bachmann posted a video of the coverage and it is available at www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=569928836063.

A number of viewers lauded Bachmann for standing up against corruption, lamented that others were not with her and cheered her on.

"Stephanie Janiczek Hah....Barney Fwank protecting his own again. Go get em Michelle!"

"Larry Miller And why is she all alone on this?"

"Stephanie Jensen Owen One of the very few in Washington who actually cares about America!!!"

"Janis Barner Go get 'em Michelle!"

"Rick Gray We need more voices standing up against ACORN."

"Steve Manning Michele Bachmann in 2012!"

"Corky Anderson Larry, that's is a very good question! Why IS she all alone on this one? Every one of us needs to get on the phone and call our lazy, whimpy representatives and tell them to get off their duffs and help her out!"

"Wendy Whitwood Bloedt Get 'em Michelle. If you stay on this and Glenn Beck does as well, we might actually get the truths behind this big "ponzi scheme" that is ACORN. Thank you for taking special interest in this because you are America's voice on this one!!!"

"Chuck Bradford We can be very proud of this truly remarkable woman who tirelessly fights for the voice of the people!"

"Lisa L Cole-Haigler Go, Michele!"

"Courtney Martineau West You're doing a wonderful job, and keep the pressure on!"

"Chris Gaines You are a woman after my own heart with this! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!!!"

"Nicole Sarauer I appreciate having a representative that I can actually be proud of...One in which we can place our hope and faith and know that she is working for the good of the people and not her own political gain. Thanks Michele :)"

"Todd Hardin This is great but the much larger question is why ACORN is even "eligible" for stimulus money in the first place."

"James M. Conkley Give 'Em Hell...Michele..."

"Gary Joel Grazioso We need to DEMAND INVESTIGATIONS as to WHY ACORN IS being awarded taxpayer dollars !!! ... We have the legal right to know how and WHERE our tax dollars are going and HOW they are being spent."

"Martha Kay Stock Yeakel I too plan to write my congressman and ask him why he is not standing in front of those microphones with Ms. Bachmann."

"Vicki Hampton I cannot wait until this is tracked back to the Obama administration and I am anxious to see who is thrown under rthe bus for this and it could not happen to a nicer guy. This will be the Obama administrations Achilles heel."

"Scott Johnson I agree with Larry Miller, Why is Rep. Bachmann all alone on this? Talk about a maverick."

"Chuck Tichy Keep up the fight Michele and Stand Your Ground!"

"Michelle Bedy "Please keep up the good fight

ACORN was protesting at the GOP office in Cleveland Oct 2004...they ended up trying to storm the office and two volunteers (I was one of them) were hurt trying to keep them out.

Even though we had several ey...e witnesses and one cell phone video documenting what happened, the perpetrators (one of which had a parole violation warrant for his arrest) were given a "no bill" and walked.

These people are scum. Nobody has seem to be able to take them down, and their behavior just gets worse and worse. The fact that they recv taxpayers dollars makes me ill."

"Elizabeth Lanning Snyder Keeping doing what you are doing congresswoman. You are right on the mark with this. We need more people like you in congress to fight for what is right and to spend our money in a responsible way! Thank you for doing the right thing."

"Jacki Olson Thank you for being a good example."

"Douglas Urbanski Voter fraud in 15 states and now ACORN gets to help with the census! Remember that ACORN was founded on socialist political views in the 1970's and vowed to have their way in government by hook or by CROOK"

Of of the Republican presidential hopefuls, declared and undeclared, Bachmann appears to be the one most likely to expose the whole truth about Obama, ACORN, Project Vote and the liberal media establishment and that is exactly what America needs to recover from the damage all of them have done.

God help America and Michele Bachmann.
