A homosexual has decided to sue God because he doesn't like God's attitude toward his personal perversion. Bradley LaShawn Fowler, a homosexual activist from Canton, Michigan, had a problem, though. He couldn't find God's legal address in order to serve Him with papers for the suit. So Fowler decided to sue the dastardly companies that dare to print God's Word: Bible publishers Zondervan and Thomas Nelson Publishing.

Poor Bradley thinks the Bible discriminates against homosexuals and lesbians. He's absolutely correct. The Bible does discriminate against them. It also discriminates against murderers, adulterers and other sinners. God created nature, so He knows when something is unnatural. And He's not shy about declaring it.

The ex-convict told a reporter for WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids that the Bible has caused him "20 years of emotional distress and mental instability." I don't know about the emotional distress part, but it appears that will have no problem proving "mental instability." But was it caused by the Bible publishers?

Fowler's ridiculous lawsuit makes about as much sense as suing the US Post Office because they delivered some mail he didn't like. Zondervan and Nelson have one responsibility when it comes to printing the Word of God. They are required to faithfully reproduce the sacred words that God committed to faithful men centuries ago.

If Bible publishers were to try to censor the Word of God, (which is exactly what Fowler is trying to force them to do), they would earn far greater penalties than Fowler is trying to exact. In Revelation 22:19, God says, "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life."

I'm sure that the Bible publishers fear the Lord far more than a whining homosexual who is just trying to promote a book. "What!" you say. "Isn't he suing because of his pure belief in the right of homosexuals to sin and force others to approve?" Not by a long shot.

If you wonder why Bradley looks so happy in his photo (see it on www.ConservativeTruth.org), it's because he stands to make a whole lot of money from this little publicity stunt. And it won't be from the $70 Million he is trying to extort from the two Bible publishers. No, Bradley fancies himself an author. He has written a "book" about how God discriminates against perversion. In it he describes how the Bible has caused his family to turn against him, and has caused him "physical and mental discomfort."

Fowler sells his little booklet over the Internet for $18! It is a badly written incoherent rant. This is not my opinion (although I share it, based on the excerpts I have seen). This is what his fellow homosexuals have said in Internet posts about the book. One begged him to take down his ads until all the grammar and spelling mistakes are corrected. He felt that Fowler made homosexuals look bad!

An interesting note: Bradley Fowler has a blog on Barrack Obama's website. HmmmObama talks a lot about "change."  Perhaps he will help Fowler "change" the Bible! Fowler's blog on Obama's site is titled, "Unleashing the American Dreamunbinding injustice." He obviously meant to say "unbinding justice." Who would want to unleash injustice? This is typical of his writing skills.

Fowler, who represents himself in the court cases, says in his legal brief, "The intent of the publisher was to design a religious, sacred document to reflect an individual opinion or a group's conclusion to cause me or anyone who is a homosexual to endure verbal abuse, discrimination, episodes of hate, and physical violenceincluding murder."   

Wow! In addition to "designing" the Bible, the publishers are also guilty of hate, discrimination, physical violence and murder! It's a wonder someone hasn't sued them before.

Does the case have a chance? Yes and no. U.S. District Judge Julian Cook, Jr., who is scheduled to hear Fowler's case against Thomas Nelson, is known to be an activist judge. He has stated publicly that he "has some very genuine concerns about the nature and efficacy of the plaintiff's claims." He might as well just come right out and say that he is going to rule in favor of the homosexual.

Judge Cook was appointed by Jimmy Carter; that tells us a lot. He is a well-known leftist who has a personal axe to grind in so called discrimination cases. He has served as chairman of a number of civil liberties organizations and committees and is associated with the infamous ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union).

So far the liberal press has almost totally ignored this case. But you can bet that Judge Cook will test the political waters before he makes a ruling. Unless he is a really dumb liberal robot, he will realize that if he rules against God he will be overturned on appeal (assuming he survives the lightning strike). No judge likes being overturned, particularly when he will the reversal comes with a sharp rebuke, as this one probably will.

Do you know what I would love to see? I would absolutely love to see old Bradley sue some Koran publishers. He knows that America, a Christian nation, will turn the other cheek and allow his obscene lawsuit to waste millions of taxpayer dollars, all so he can sell his poorly written book.

But if he tried the same stunt in a Muslim nation, he would quickly discover what discrimination is all about. If Fowler could locate Salman Rushdie, who wrote a book that offended Muslims in 1988, he could ask Rushdie's opinion about such a lawsuit. It's doubtful he'll be able to get Rushdie's advice, though; he's still in hiding 20 years later, in fear for his life.

There is no way that a money-grubbing homosexual and an activist judge are going to edit the Bible. Christians will not put up with this ridiculous charade. And neither will God. In fact, the people in the courtroom would be smart not to stand too close to Fowler and the judge should the ruling go against God. Those lightning burns can be pretty nasty.
