Worst act of Islamic terrorism since September 11, 2001

The worst act of Islamic-inspired terrorism since 9/11 took the lives of at least 49 and injured at least another 53 in the early hours of Sunday, June 12 at an LGBT nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

The perpetrator, identified as Omar Mateen, was killed by police who ended this horrific terrorist act. The son of Afghan parents, Mateen resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida. This was clearly a well-planned premeditated attack.

What may be even worse than the actual attack is the extent to which the Obama administration attempts to shield from public awareness the radical Islamist terrorist involvement in these horrific attacks.

There was no quick statement from the President offering sympathies for the victims and condemnation for such acts of terrorism and pledging to rid the nation of Islamic extremists. As of 2:00 pm, 12 hours after the ISIS sympathizer began his bloody massacre, the only response from the Obama administration had been an anonymous "administration" response.

When Obama finally made a public statement, he could not mention the phrase Islamic terrorist! Obama appears incapable of using the words "Islamic" and "terrorist" in the same phrase. In fact, he never used the word "Islamic" to describe the attack of a known ISIS sympathizer, Omar Mateen, who had twice previously been investigated by the FBI concerning the nature of his association with ISIS.

Obama decried "hatred" but never once linked the terrorist act to the Islamic jihad waged by ISIS.

It is telling that Obama was quicker to prematurely and inappropriately assert presumed nominee Clinton was "innocent" of any criminal acts, despite his lack of any real knowledge of the FBI's investigative progress. Obama's assertion was particularly irresponsible given the ongoing FBI criminal investigation of Clinton that involves the President himself, who is known to have emailed at least on two occasions to Clinton's nonsecure server.

Obama's history of failing to acknowledge the international jihad against Western Civilization and jihadist motivation of domestic acts of violence and terror has firmly entrenched a "politically-correct" cloud over government officials who have to contend with these acts.

Mateen was already on the FBI's radar as indicated early in the morning by an FBI agent's statement revealing there was evidence the suspect was motivated by radical Islamist terrorists. That evidence included the two previous FBI investigations of Mateen for terrorist connections.

Mateen was reported to be "declaring his allegiance to ISIS as he was being shot" by police who ended his reign of terror.

Shocking Evidence of Administration Censorship

Then at 9:38 EDT this morning FOX News aired an earlier cell conversation with, Ron Hopper, FBI Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge, who stated:

"... the history that we have of this individual so far is that he may have made threats that he was tied to (transmission garbled) definitive determination made at the present..."

"... that the individual has made threats in the past to having ties to (garbled again) terrorist organizations, however, those have not been confirmed..."

• The entire cell phone conversation with Agent Hopper was clear and free of any problem except that portion where the agent characterized the nature of the terrorism.
  
• It is clear the agent's use of the term "Islamic" was scrubbed from the transmission in real time.

It is implausible that the only two portions of that cell phone communication to be garbled/silenced were those that characterized the nature of the terrorism as relating to Islamic jihad.

We knew of government snooping in all cell phone conversations. We knew about government monitoring of all email and texting. But altering conversations between FBI agents and the news media in real time? This is a shocking new revelation.

Politically-correct paralysis has been fostered by the Democratic Party and Obama in particular. This paralysis has allowed our nation to be invaded by tens of thousands of potential terrorists.

When will this stop?

When will the American People take back their country from the corrupt political establishment in both parties?
