Romney Supports Radical Leftist Hooligans at Trump Rallies Radical Leftists are not "protesters" -- they are hooligans
Mitt Romney, loser of the 2012 Presidential race, has become one of the biggest cheerleaders for radical Leftist hooligans determined to prevent Donald Trump and his supporters from exercising their right of free speech. Romney, as an agitator of unlawful rioting, should be arrested and punished just as severely as those he urges on with his unprovoked vitriolic attacks on Trump.
Whether by design or sheer ignorance, Mitt Romney has fostered and is agitating for radical Leftist violence at campaign rallies for Donald Trump.
Perhaps Romney is just annoyed that Trump called him out for the loser he is. Romney did blow an election opportunity that has cost America dearly with four additional years of a President who has done enormous damage to this country. It may be that the fact of his loss is a very sore point with Romney and he is just lashing out as any child would by name-calling and having public tantrums. But in doing so, Romney is promoting the radical Leftist thuggery that is symptomatic of a totalitarian mentality.
Let's get one thing very clear. Radical Leftists rioters are not "protesters". They are thugs determined to deny Donald Trump his right to address crowds at his rallies. But they also have another agenda. They seek to prevent any speech that does not comport with their totalitarian beliefs. Why? Because violent obstruction is always the preferred alternative of those who cannot support their agenda with peaceful debate using reasoned arguments.
It is no surprise to learn that these hooligans are, for the most part, not local but are brought in specifically to disrupt free speech.
Why is there no investigation and prosecution not only of violent participants but also of those who arrange these violent acts designed to prevent the exercise of free speech?
It is most certainly not an "exercise of free speech" by those who forcibly prevent others from exercising their right of free speech.
Most culpable in this charade that claims violent radical Leftists are mere "protesters" are the "usual suspects" in news media. And, yes, that would include every single broadcast newsgroup and every cable news operation (including FOXNews, who one would expect to be less obvious with their complicity).
As is well-enshrined in the First Amendment to our Constitution, the denial of another citizen's right to free speech is a fundamental violation of the law of our land. All those who aid and abet such denial are complicit with those actually performing the physical acts of violence.
Those who prevent the peaceful exercise of free speech by riotous behavior are hooligans, not protesters.
Those who incite the commission of illegal acts are as guilty as if they committed such acts.
Romney claims Trump is a "racist", yet there is absolutely no evidence of such claim.
The Left contorts reality to create their own flimsy foundation upon which to make their racist claim. Look back to when Trump gave an off-hand response to an unclear (to him) question about being "supported" by a Nazi sympathizer and proponents of the racist Democrat thug organization, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). Yes, the KKK is a creation of the Democratic Party. Think about that one.
When a big issue was made, not of Trump's denial of such support, but by the way he expressed his denial, it became very clear the Left (and other anti-Trump thugs) were attempting to lay a basis to claim Trump was a racist when no such label is appropriate. Sure enough, along comes loser Mitt Romney to make his silly violence-encouraging libelous remark claiming Donald Trump is a "racist".
Romney's words inflame agitators who gather for the express purpose of denying free speech rights to Donald Trump and those who peacefully assemble to hear what Mr. Trump has to say.
Romney is just as guilty as if he, like terrorist Bill Ayers, were actually participating as one of the hooligans.
We need to examine why these unlawful acts of hooliganism and those who promote such illegal acts are being tolerated by our legal system.
Acts of hooliganism are not protected as acts of free speech. Consequently, they should be appropriately punished with dispatch.
Civility demands the peaceful nonobstructive expression of differing views in an appropriate venue. There is no "civil right" to obstruct or otherwise harm others.
As a nation, it is high time we begin to defend our civilization and stop tolerating uncivil behavior with the excuse that it is an appropriate exercise of "free speech".
We must stop tolerating all such acts of incivility if we are to survive as a nation devoted to the peaceful resolution of differences.
And it is high time that local police authorities stop treating hooligans with deference by tolerating their attacks on civility.
This entire sorry state of affairs has been brought to us by Marxist professors agitating at public universities, a Leftist biased news media who fan the flames of agitation, both of whom are working in concert with those who finance this troupe of Leftist hooligans who are moved around the country to obstruct rights of peaceful citizens.
If our nation is to survive, we must stop tolerating this radical abuse of a fundamental constitutional right to peaceful assembly and free speech.
We must stop excusing hooliganism as if it were a legitimately protected demonstration of peaceful protest.
Bob Webster, a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.
A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
