Once again, the GOP has proven it no longer deserves the position of opposition party. It has no leadership, it has no direction, it has no cohesive message, it has no grassroots financial support, in short, it has no future.
RINO: Republican In Name Only
Ten GOP Senators decided that it was more important to not oppose the first woman nominee to the position of Attorney General than was it their duty to uphold their sworn oath to defend our Constitution. By voting to confirm the latest Marxist to be nominated for the job of Attorney General, the "Senators" (RINOs) listed below abandoned their constituents, their states, our nation's Constitution, and the future of their party:
Kelly Ayotte (R-NH)
Thad Cochran (R-MS) (gee, what a surprise... are you happy Mississippi?)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Jeff Flake (R-AZ)
Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
Ron Johnson (R-WI)
Mark Kirk (R-IL)
Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Rob Portman (R-OH)
These Senators have disgraced their states and their party. They deserve to lose big in any future election. Better yet, their states should mount a recall movement to remove these traitors from office. Don't hold your breath.
The GOP did not actually "win" back the Senate in 2014. They were merely the beneficiary of people running from Democrat rule! Which fact informs us that NOW is an opportune moment for a new party of leadership to emerge to replace the crumbling and highly corrupted dominant parties that are destroying our nation through a combination of their own ignorance, stupidity, and greed.
It's time to start thinking about a new first party to be the big winner in 2016. Neither the GOP nor the Democrat-Marxist parties deserve to hold power any longer.
Will the citizenry wake up? Or is it already too late?
Bob Webster, a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s) is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.
A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
