Oh yes, and the United States: 4.2

Every one of the countries and territories listed above has annual murders equal to or greater than the United States. And every one of them have laws that severely restrict gun ownership!

Switzerland is not shown because there were no murders in Switzerland to report. Please also note that in Switzerland every citizen is required to:

  1. Own a gun.
  2. Regularly maintain marksman qualifications.
  3. Carry a weapon.

Now, back to that opening question...

All those in favor of a gun ban in the United States, please signify by raising your hand.

Everyone with his hand raised is urged to immediately report to the nearest mental health clinic to have his head examined. If you are among the hand-raisers, it is imperative that you be examined by mental health experts so the cause of your loss of capacity to think logically can be diagnosed and treated without delay.

Thank you for your participation.

Biography - Bob Webster

Bob Webster, a descendant of Daniel Webster's father and early American patriot, Ebenezer Webster, has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for every high school student so they can understand the dangers of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
