Proven: Modern Liberals, Socialists and Progressives are Insane
When something doesn't add up, sane people instinctively recognize something is wrong. Those who don't recognize something is wrong have a mental deficiency that shuns logic and reason, rejecting their own instinct. Today's Modern Liberal, Socialist, and Progressive all exhibit characteristics of those who cannot recognize a simple truth despite massive evidence in support of that truth. Einstein, in his own way, characterized such behavior as insane.
Some definitions -
Socialism: The failed theory that government can create wealth and distribute that wealth uniformly in pursuit of a warped sense of fairness [Ed. note: what is "fair" about a slovenly slug having access to the same benefits of hard-workers?]. Socialism opposes humanity because it requires the suppression of individualism to the benefit of the "state." Socialism must always suppress individual achievement, driving humanity backward [Progressives, did you catch that?]. Socialism repeatedly and consistently fails as a system of government because it ultimately relies on the impossible construct of "something for nothing." Corollary: Capitalism, based on self-reliance and individual freedom is "evil" and "greedy" because it nurtures and rewards excellence and, therefore, sets one apart from dependence on government and, consequently, is "unfair."
Capitalism: A highly successful system whereby self-reliance, a work ethic, prudent risk-taking, and individual initiative are rewarded according to the value of the individual's work product to others. Under free-market capitalism individuals are free to pursue their own course in life and are guaranteed nothing but the opportunity to succeed or fail based on their own skills and decisions. Capitalism supports humanity by providing the best basis from which achievement and advancement can be realized both individually and for humanity as a whole. The most rapid and greatest advances for humanity have been achieved under free-market capitalism. Whenever it has been allowed to function as a market-based system, capitalism has brought prosperity and advanced humanity.
Modern Liberal, Socialist, Progressive: One who remains convinced, despite the massive evidence of it's abject failure wherever and whenever it has been tried, that socialism is superior to free-market entrepreneur-driven capitalism.
Insanity: Repeating the same blunder, convinced a different result (success) will be achieved. (Hat tip to Albert Einstein)
Applying rational process and logic to the above evidence, we can only come to the following conclusion.
Conclusion: All Modern Liberals, Socialists and Progressives are insane.
This conclusion is both inescapable and unassailable.
Therefore with respect to, Barack Hussein Obama, his Administration, his Supreme Court nominees, his executive appointees, the Democratic Party, Republicans who fail to oppose Obama’s socialism, those on the public dole, much of the US education establishment, and massive elements of the US news media, it would be a fair statement to conclude they are all insane by definition.
Every one of the above groups actually believe that the irresponsible government destruction of our currency through printing money with no backing in order to fund obscene annual deficits can go on forever without consequences.
As will ultimately befall the irresponsible individual who believes he can accumulate without any consequences massive credit card debt well beyond what he can afford to repay, a day of reckoning will come for the liberal/socialist/progressive policies the US is pursuing and bring with it an era of malaise the likes of which the US has never experienced in its history.
Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.
A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
