"Plantation Blacks" for Obama

Why do the vast majority of Blacks in the USA prefer to support the political party who opposed Lincoln, delayed passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, created the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), segregated schools, gave us Woodrow Wilson who segregated the military, embraces atheist Marxism, and has encouraged poverty and dependency of Blacks that has produced lower expectations and results than would otherwise exist?

It is truly a mystery why the great majority of Blacks in the USA support the Democratic Party when:

  • Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican,

  • Abraham Lincoln who freed Black slaves was a Republican,

  • The GOP was the driving force responsible for passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act,

  • The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) was created by the Democratic Party as their "goon squad" to suppress Black and Republican voters in the South after the Civil War,

  • The Democratic Party gave us Woodrow Wilson, an unabashed racist, who segregated military forces,

  • The Democratic Party embraces atheist Marxism that preaches rights are granted by government,

  • Under the guise of "fighting poverty", the Democratic Party created a welfare/poverty system that encourages dependency on government and suppresses economic and educational advancement of lower-income Americans.

Add to this list the fact that a large portion of Blacks in the USA are devout Christians (not of the Rev. Wright variety) strongly holding the very traditional conservative view that our rights derive from our God, and not from government. This belief is completely opposed by the modern Democratic (Progressive Socialist) Party that preaches government is the great provider through taking from "the rich" and dispensing the spoils to an ever-increasing dependency class.

The modern Democratic Party is an affront to the beliefs of traditional Black Christian Americans. Yet a vast majority of those same Blacks will stay on the Democratic Party Plantation while that same party takes their votes for granted, blames their problems on "the rich" and the GOP, obstructs programs designed to get government out of the way of Black progress, and drives Blacks deeper into dependency and servitude on the Democratic Party Plantation.

Rep. Allen West, R-FL (the only GOP member of the Congressional Black Caucus), recognizes this bizarre situation and has devoted his energies to freeing Black Americans from the Democratic Party "Plantation". West recently stated, "The people on that plantation are upset because they've been disregarded, disrespected and their concerns are not cared about ... I'm here as the modern-day Harriet Tubman to kind of lead people on the underground railroad away from that plantation into a sense of sensibility."

Poll Blacks on the issues (e.g., education vouchers, religious freedom, opportunity not restrained by big government, etc.) and the results strongly support traditional conservative Christian values of self-reliance, family, and a social network built around the church and faith in God. Such traditional Black values are repugnant to the modern Progressivist/Socialist Democratic Party.

Blacks on the Democratic Plantation need to do some real "Soul" searching and ask themselves why they continue to support the political party that has nothing but contempt for their beliefs. They need to question why they support a party responsible for creating a vast dependency upon government as a replacement for their true God. It is particularly urgent that Blacks awaken from their sleep because it is now obvious that the welfare-poverty cycle created by unsustainable social programs is about to drag this nation into a socialist morass that will be the final death blow to the constitutional republican government created by those who understood that the rights of individuals derive from God, not government.

It is ironic that the majority of elected Black members of Congress are masters on that same Plantation. Rather than freeing Blacks from the dependency on big government, these "masters" promote greater dependency and servitude to an atheist socialism preached by Progressives that started with Woodrow Wilson (D), likely the most racist President in US history!

Let us pray for Allen West in his crusade to lead Black Americans to freedom from the Democratic Party Plantation.

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
