'Twas the Night Before The Elections
Parody Poem By Katy Zastrow DuBois

This parody of The Night Before Christmas says it all.

'Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
Peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys,

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink.

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

'On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Wright and Ayers!
On ACORN, On Pelosi
He urged on his pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as they flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at those
Who wouldn't stand and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note ...
IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!

-- By Katy Zastrow DuBois, author of The 'Bama Pokey

All those who aspire to improve their lot by their own hard work had better protect their aspiration by voting against the socialist candidate, Barack Obama.

It is NOT government's role to act as charity for those less fortunate, nor is it government's role to redistribute wealth. Neither Obama nor Biden, each making millions, donate more than a miniscule fraction of their wealth to charity. They prefer to donate YOUR money to buy them votes. It's called "redistributing YOUR wealth." Obama and Biden are just greedy, stingy liberals who believe charity begins with YOUR money being doled out by "the government".

Unless you want your take-home pay to go down, unless you want the stock market to crash to unimaginable lows, unless you want hope to become despair, unless you want a return to skyrocketing fuel prices, unless you want electric bills to become ever-greater chunks of what is left from your income -- you'd better vote against the socialist redistribution/regulation policies of Obama-Biden.

Our nation has always relied upon the strength of character of its' citizens to help those in need. It worked just fine until FDR began the downward spiral that actually has some people now believing that it is government's role to take care of the needy. It is not. It never has been in our Constitution system of freedom, self-reliance, minimal government, personal responsibility, and both individual and local community charity. Don't let socialists rewrite our Constitution by enacting legislation and putting in Supreme Court Justices who will continue to trash our Constitution in favor of wealth redistribution, reparations, and the destruction of capitalism.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, vote for freedom.

Vote McCain-Palin!

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
