Stock Market Adjustment and the Fed

Stock Market correction. I've always been amazed since we all once wondered if stocks would go above 1,000. Traditionally, when employment improves, the Market dives. Between that and the need for adjustment, we are witnessing a common occurrence. The Fed may come racing in and drastically raise interest rates "to control inflation" - ala Paul Volcker.

More worrisome is what the Fed will do with interest rates. These too are raised when the economy improves "to control inflation" (BS).

Raise them high enough and you get the Jimmy Carter Era with Fed Chairman Paul Volcker admitting raises in interest rates and taxes can bring about societal change. 17% mortgages and wiping out usury laws that occurred as Proposition 10 at the same time as California’s famous Prop 13 that cut property taxes – and made local communities dependent on the State and Federal governments. It certainly gave rise to no fault divorce, the Feminist Movement, the breakdown of families because women were FORCED into the workplace - causing kids being raised in day care centers just as Hillary was taught as a student at Wellesley.

We've been paying for it ever since to the point where the Black Caucus can't even applaud the lowest black unemployment rate in history - Loss of dependency on Government that is their stock in trade - or Planned Parenthood wants to give hormone shots to help transgenders while selling aborted baby parts.

Trump's actions have opened the door to more money circulating more times in the economy. The Fed better be careful not to screw that up as they have in the past.
