Trump and the haters

Maybe its because Christians are under fire that has made us a bit more discerning. Maybe, its because many devout Christians saw something in Donald Trump that had the promise to fill the moral and spiritual vacuum that has become the United States and Western Civilization. Many see him as a type of King David who did some dastardly things, then wrote the Psalms and fathered King Solomon who became the model of great wisdom. The haters were enraged.

The haters went nuts when pastors laid hands on him and prayed for his protection and wisdom. They went nuts when black pastors surrounded him and rejoiced in a new ray of hope after generations of destruction of the black family and youth. Their heads spun when visionary after visionary proclaimed his role in the restoration of the nation.

The childlike Donald Trump whose visionary approach to building and operating projects of beauty and quality has created tens of thousands of jobs and his own great wealth. Sadly the haters want to prevent him from doing the same for his beloved country. Politicians, academics and the students they’ve brainwashed take to the streets and tear down and destroy rather than build - all with the aiding and abetting of the mainstream media.

From the day Michelle Obama told cheering throngs, “We are going to rewrite our history and change our traditions,” the path has been to the pit of hell as Soros sponsored radicals tear down statues and mob the streets chanting their inane demands.

Now they are trying blindly to parse his very wide reaching words after the clash of radicals of the left and those deemed of the right - the unknown “Alt-right." Bad enough they included the KKK and the media resurrected David Duke, but BLM and Antifa paid unpermitted busloads to infiltrate the permitted protesters and create the violence no one with a sound mind wanted.

Having rejected common sense and the love of God, anything Donald Trump does or says is to be met with demonic “Resistance.” Nothing new under the sun as St. Paul noted among the rebellious Corinthians.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

They react in the only way they have been taught - with anger, rage and destruction, but never polite discourse leading to happy solutions benefitting all. This too shall pass.
