Spring Valley, SC Deputy fired because a teenager was disobedient at school

Another cop is fired for intervening in a classic case of student disobedience at Spring Valley High, SC. The left is having a field day, justifying the student and blaming the deputy. Maybe a solution based on what works is in order. She is after all, a minor, still under the authority of her parent and secondarily, the school. Teachers unions and the White House may feel differently, but those are the societal facts since day one. Governments cannot successfully raise children into responsible citizenship.

Back in the day when corporal punishment was okayed if parents assented, my son in 6th Grade got his lily white ass tanned by a black principal using a paddle. It left bruises and welts. We objected, but didn't sue. Turns out my son - who probably had it coming, now 50, is a successful businessman, employing 36 painters, some for decades, and survived stage 4 cancer twice. In later years I had a chance to forgive the principal.

The young female is a victim of victimhood where all authority is questioned. The cop is a bigger victim than she ever was - except for what progressivism as done to the black family since Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. Are the statistics right that about 73% of black kids are born in a home without a resident, married to the Mom father? That's a long way from when the average black family was a bit more stable than the average white family.

To save her and begin building some character, she should be required to apologize to her classmates for disrupting their all-important road to future success. Then she should apologize to the teacher and staff in front of the class. Her Mom and Grandma should be present to back up the school's authority and its responsibility to communicate with parents.

Finally, she should apologize to the deputy for her rude behavior that caused his overreaction. She should go to the Sherriff and beg for his reinstatement.

Any more visits to the White House and other evidence of anarchy has to come to an end. My bet is that she and the deputy will become friends and the girl, with that kind of spunk will succeed in whatever she does.
