Rulers and Satraps living high on the hog

This stuff is as old as mankind. Those with the power to rule also enjoy the opportunity to live an exclusive life of luxury on the backs of those they rule. Muslim dictators are particularly good at this – apparently where Jihad Barry gets his penchant for blowing taxpayer money on frivolity on himself and his masters and minions.

Western Civilization added a new level to the rich-poor segment – a thriving middle class – architects, engineers, artists, composers, craftsmen, musicians and those with the ability to build the instruments and venues for the great orchestras, cathedrals and opera settings - up to the Industrial Revolution.

The poor lived on monastic lands or gleaned the fields as did Ruth in Boaz’ field where the progenitors of Jesus met. Yes, the poor we always have with us as well as tyrants. But even these provided the means for other talents to find fulfillment – from churches and synagogues for grateful worshipers, hospitals, homes for orphans and indigent to soldiering and the design and manufacture of the weapons of inevitable war.

The Industrial Revolution brought on great advancements in science, mobility and communication – A great percentage of these advancement came from the freedom loving people of the United States of America who had the privilege to develop and exploit their own gifts and talents while bringing others along for the ride to prosperity. A free people is a people allowed to think for themselves.

“In the latter days, men will travel to and fro about the world, ever learning, but never coming to the knowledge of truth.” What a perfect description of “progressivism!” Much of Western Civilization’s prior beauty was lost to the filth of crowded cities and the loss of beauty for utility. By trading utility for beauty, the highly honed skills of the craftsman, designer, artist and musician were no longer needed on a broad scale – only for the elite treasuring century’s old art and architecture.

With “progressivism” came eugenics, racial division, depravity, fiat money becoming the master rather than the servant of exchange of goods and services. “Progressives” have a penchant for violating the very principles that made the USA a great nation – warts and all. The USA was the natural outcome of the brightest parts of Western Civilization, carrying it to new heights of technological and social advances, even in health care for all. The metastasizing cancer of “progressivism” has been ever present since the end of the Civil War. It gained power by creating money for speculation and hedging, a tribute to be paid at interest by those who created the value and wealth of the nation.

Tribute must now be paid in the form of interest bearing notes when new money “allows” the wealth creators, the risk takers, the explorers, the evangelists, the artisans and laborers to enjoy the fruit of their efforts and their sacrifices. Such new money should have always been spent into existence by a Congress fulfilling its Constitutional mandate that they let slip away. Today the value of the 1913 dollar has been reduced by 96% to cover for the imperfections and corruptions of the current monetary system.

Today, these same powers seek to enhance their profits by opening our borders to a massive in-migration from all over the world – from poor countries with little skills, from Muslim countries with jihad in mind, but not the hundreds of thousands of Christians being driven from their homes and slaughtered. Christians who know and believe in the love of God and contribute mightily to the growth of the human spirit.

“Progressives” are making room for a vengeful god demanding the blood of infidels. These powers expect the cheap labor of these immigrants will enhance their profits. They are so ignorant, they cannot understand the broad distribution of end product depends on a people ready, willing and able to purchase, enjoy and share the fruit of their labors. Properly ordered and integrated into the world’s most successful society will see even and especially the new citizen’s own prosperity and contribution to the rest. A world in poverty cannot yield a profit – or take care of itself.
