Former Bernie Sanders Spokesman Symone Sanders, and CNN Hosts Don Lemon and Kate Bolduan Win Duranty-Blair Awards for Journalistic Infamy!

CNN should be renamed Hoaxes ‘R Us: Instead of providing news and clarity, it constantly launches or perpetuates hoaxes, particularly hate crime hoaxes, and in the case of debunked hate crime hoaxes, seeks to keep hoax alive!

On Tuesday, November 15, I watched CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, where Symone Sanders was one of the panelists. Sanders was Bernie Sanders’ chief spokesman (there’s apparently no relation between the two). Lemon was promoting the MSM’s hate crime hoax campaign, which they went to as soon as the election was over, and which Lemon has relentlessly promoted for six or seven days now.

Symone Sanders: “We can’t normalize [hate crimes]. I am horrified.

“… a friend of mine was on the Acela [super-fast Amtrak train], and a white couple told her, ‘Shouldn’t people like you be in the back?’”

“President-elect Trump should reach out to his millions of Twitter followers…” to speak out against such hate.

White fellow panelist, Republican former congressman Jack Kingston said, “I find it ironic” that the media are claiming that so many hate crimes have been committed by Trump supporters, and then started listing hate crimes against Trump supporters that the media have largely ignored: The attack on a GOP headquarters in North Carolina, the fake claim by a Moslem woman that Trump supporters had assaulted her, and one or two other incidents.

Sanders responded to Kingston with special pleading:

“Congressman, as an African-American woman in America, I don’t have the luxury of waiting to see if something is authenticated.

[Then she needs to shut up.]

“People telling me I’m a baboon, and should go back to Africa.”

[Where? On social media? Welcome to the world, Miss Sanders. I guarantee no white ever said that to her face.]

If you believe Symone Sanders’ story, I have a great deal for you on a slightly used bridge.

Sanders is a black supremacist liar. But while her stories of hate crimes by whites are fake, her own racist hatred for whites is very real.

Two days earlier, on Sunday, she’d appeared on lefty Kate Bolduan’s CNN show.

Bolduan was one of the first media operatives to begin circulating the talking point, whereby concerns about Hillary Clinton’s health were “a conspiracy theory,” back in September.

On Bolduan’s show, Sanders was lying in both directions, as she later would on Lemon’s show: Loudly promoting hate crime hoaxes, while redefining hate crimes against Trump supporters as mere “demonstrating.” But she took it a step further.

Trump supporter Carl Higbie pointed out that Clinton supporters were committing brutal violence against Trump supporters, and that neither Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama had denounced the violence at the riots.

Sanders responded, “I’m sorry, hate crimes and protesting are not the same things. A hate crime is a crime that is committed against somebody because of their religion, because of what they look like, because of their sexual orientation. That’s not the same thing as protesting.”

When Higbie responded, “What do you say to the people who dragged a poor white guy out of a car and beat him?,” she mocked him, the victim, and the entire white race, shades of Leonard “Cry me a river” Pitts Jr., who had notoriously mocked white hate crime/gang-rape-torture-murder victims Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom in 2007.

“Oh my goodness, poor white people! Please!” she responded. “Oh my– stop. Stop, Carl.” [“Dem Strategist Mocks Trump Supporter Beat Up By Mob: ‘Oh My Goodness, Poor White People!,’” by Alex Griswold, Mediaite, November 14th, 2016.]

Kate Bolduan, Symone Sanders, and Don Lemon are Duranty-Blair laureates, in recognition of their striving to turn truth on its head, and see evil triumph. I am giving Bolduan two “D-Bs”—one for the “conspiracy theory” hoax that she and her allies used to deflect attention from Hillary Clinton’s very real health problems, and to mock her critics, strongly implying that they were paranoid; and one for having Symone Sanders on as a guest, and not challenging Sanders’ lies or evil. (CNN hosts routinely interrupt and challenge guests whom they hate.) I am giving Symone Sanders two awards—one of her November 13, 2016 appearance on Kate Bolduan’s show, and one for her November 15 appearance on Don Lemon’s show, in which she lied about hate crimes against Trump supporters, promoted hate crime hoaxes supposedly committed by Trump supporters, and mocked white Trump supporters who were the victims of real hate crimes. Finally, today I am issuing Don Lemon but one “D-B,” but only because I haven’t had time to review my notes and previous posts. Based on dozens of times I’ve viewed Lemon, mostly during the 2016 election campaign, he gives a daily D-B-worthy performance.

Should anyone challenge whether Symone Sanders should receive a journalistic booby prize, she appears on a regular basis on media shows, in which she makes statements which can and must be adjudged for their veracity and morality, just like the hosts of the shows, and the other media operatives who appear on them.

Previous Duranty-Blair winners are CBS News producer Mary Mapes in 2004, for Memogate/Rathergate; seven reporters and editors at the New Orleans Times-Picayune in 2006; ABC News reporter Brian Ross in 2012; Peter Berger, of The American Interest, in 2013; Associated Press operative Tom Hays, in 2014; and New York Times Farhad Manjoo in September, 2016.

The Duranty-Blair Award recognizes those journalists whose work embodies the spirit of Walter Duranty and Jayson Blair, two of the most notorious journalists in the history of the Fourth Estate. It is no accident that both men worked for the New York Times.

Walter Duranty wrote a series of early 1930s dispatches from the Soviet Union, where he was Times Moscow bureau chief, in which he lied about the Ukrainian Holocaust, in which Stalin deliberately starved millions of Kulaks (farmers) to death, through a man-made famine. Instead of reporting the truth, Duranty reported that the peasants were happy and well-fed, and was rewarded for his lies with a Pulitzer Prize.

Jayson Blair (here, here, and here) was an early 2000s black affirmative action hire, who alternately plagiarized reporters at other newspapers, and fabricated articles out of whole cloth, all for stories set hundreds and even thousands of miles away, while he sat in New York City cafés.

In 2004, CBS News producer Mary Mapes sought to win the presidential election for socialist Democrat challenger, Sen. John Kerry, by perpetrating a hoax, using forged Texas Air Force National Guard documents, provided by Bush-hating former reserve officer Bill Burkett, charging future president George W. Bush with going AWOL during the Vietnam War.

In 2006, New Orleans Times-Picayune reporters Brian Thevenot, Gordon Russell, Jeff Duncan and Gwen Filosa; managing editors, news, Peter Kovacs and Dan Shea; and editor Jim Amoss, won for their September 26, 2005 attempt to “untell” the story of the savage, black violence that befell New Orleans just before and after Hurricane Katrina made landfall on August 29 of that year (1,900-word version; two-part, 3,900-word version (here and here); and 9,900-word version).

In 2012, ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent” Brian Ross, won for his 2002 campaign, on behalf of the Justice Department/FBI, to railroad innocent weapons scientist Dr. Steven J. Hatfill for the fall, 2002 anthrax murders; and for falsely asserting, in 2012, that Aurora, CO movie theater mass murderer, James Holmes, was a member of the TEA Party.

In 2013, Peter Berger, of The American Interest, was recognized for his support of, and cover-up of the ongoing genocide against South African whites.

In 2014, AP reporter Tom Hays won for his 2004 “Boosgate” hoax. In his contribution to the John Kerry for President campaign, Hays had fabricated an incident out of whole cloth, in which Republican voters at a Bush re-election rally booed news from President Bush II, of President Clinton’s illness.

Finally, New York Times operative Farhad Manjoo became a Duranty-Blair laureate, in recognition of his perfidy, as an unofficial Hillary Clinton operative, in calling on Google to censor stories which covered Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s health problems, and which raised questions about her physical fitness for the highest office in the land.

I recognize that by all rights, I should be issuing several Duranty-Blairs per day, but there are only so many hours in the day.
