Light for me (poem)

It will allow me to think beyond today

I will light a candle for myself

To warm up my tears,

I catch myself between my tears between my annoyance

Between my love

Between my loneliness

That's really not that far.

I have always been a constant in my life

Anyhow, those experiences left me feeling loved

Leave me blind now.

I picked up a candle and lit it,

To wake up my smile

To ascertain the path in the darkness.

In the luminosity of my day.

How firm is my love,

How potent is my life? Tonight,

Rainfall and snow will come again

The slightest wind will blow it over

Like a star that shoots across the night sky,

It grows up as high as it can go

This takes me to my life's mission And

I light my candle solely Standing. Still holding my hand, I am just about to start something,

I see Sleepless at night,

Yet sitting in the darkness,

I'm not willing to compromise

Frightened of losing myself again.

I light my candle for me.
