The COVID-19 virus does NOT kill people. Co-morbid conditions do. Everyone else is safe. Except small business that are mostly murdered.
The EIDL for small business is a lie. Most small businesses are rejected. In leiu, The State should be responsible to make small business loans because they murdered us with their forced closing mandate and scaring everyone with false facts about millions of deaths. Sweden did not close businesses. Masks and social distancing were enough....
The governor of the hardest hit states should provide state backing of loans up to 1 or two million since the SBA EIDL will not do so for small business. The EIDL is a lie. The maximum they provide is 15 thousand. Useless to us even if we weren't denied.

We went through all the paperwork and deadline hoops only to be denied because we are not financially sound enough... after 3 months of lost business? Duh! Incredible right? They didn't even send the 10K advance that wasn't tied to eligibility for EIDL.
Not just us but thousands maybe tens of thousands of small businesses were denied due to supposed bad credit.
We have a Hotel, restaurants and bars.. Even if the State allows us to re-open. All business has been cancelled through July. What can we do without a substantial loan? Bills keep coming in and the PPE is too restrictive for a grant since we have no business and no need for employees. We will not be able to meet the criteria of restoring the same amount of FTE and pay by end of June.
I worked thirty years to earn the millions it took to build and finance our business. All of it will be stolen and given to large business - effectively nationalizing our business - just like the communists -- only with stealth and lies about loans. I bet the President isn't aware of what is going on
We relied on the EIDL but it was a complete fraud.that only benefited larger businesses who made political contributions . We are large enough to add hundreds of thousands to the town and state economy but still small enough to be denied loans. So much for Justice.
The criteria for loans should be the amount of business and potential business lost due to forced closing. Feel free to send this to your congressional reps. Assuming they care for anything but their own power.
