The Bible: God's Immutable Word

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35)

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)

You can call yourself a Christian, but if your life does not reflect the teachings of the Bible and the Savior you proclaim to serve, the chances are you've not experienced a true conversion.

Scripture exhorts Christians not to remain babies and drink only milk. It is the full substance of God's Word which matures our faith. We are transformed by the renewal of our mind, which is also in Christ Jesus.

When a believer yields to God's Holy Spirit, he or she comes to understand The Almighty. It is the Lord's will that all know Him so intimately that His every word is comprehensible to the mind and heart. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 1:18)

When reading The Ten Commandments there is no doubting or misunderstanding the true nature of God. Christ also unfolds the truth so clearly that the basics are not confusing: The Lord does not tolerate sin. The Savior leads us to righteousness for His sake. Because He is love, there is not one good thing held back from His children.

It is a loving, obedient and contrite heart that brings the believer to know God's will. Our Lord has not intended us to merely stumble along, not knowing right from wrong. There is no debate over what is good or evil. The Holy Spirit fully guides all believers to wisdom and truth. God speaks to us today. Any confusion is brought about by the interjection of humanist moral relativism.

Our country was founded on Judeo-Christians beliefs. America is a Christian nation, but one which is tolerant and graciously respectful of all beliefs.

America stands at a religious and a political crossroad. If Barack Obama becomes president, his religiosity will be embraced to some extent by certain members of our society. There will be more unseemly and drastic changes than our country has ever experienced. Obama and others of his ilk will dedicatedly undermine the traditional understanding of God's Word to change our society as they see fit.

Democrats implemented a strategy to vie for votes using Christian verbiage to draw people to them. However, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Father Michael Pfeger spoiled it to a degree with their flamboyance.

In June of 2006, Michael Lerner, a rabbi and political activist editor of Tikkun, a progressive Jewish and interfaith magazine, and Jim Wallis, editor of Sojourners magazine were approached by fellow Democrats to help them sound spiritually-minded. Think it not strange that today Obama is the spokesperson for the religious Left.

Excerpts from FoxNews.com: Dobson: Obama 'Distorting' Bible, Pushing 'Fruitcake Interpretation' of Constitution:

As Dr. James Dobson so rightly exclaimed: "I think he's deliberately distorting the traditional understanding of the Bible to fit his own worldview, his own confused theology. He is dragging biblical understanding through the gutter."

America has listened very closely to the media's contrived messianic man whose religious beliefs are contrary to the word of The Lord God Almighty. For twenty years, Obama attended a church that taught a false man-made theology rooted in Marxism and hatred.

Both Michele and Barack took Black Liberation Theology studies to become baptized members of Trinity United Church of Christ, a black nationalist, anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-white organization. Its bigoted theology cannot bring our nation together, and neither can a far Left Democrat who has never once reached a hand over to a Republican in any act of political bipartisanship.

However, we've seen Obama play the race card as well as hustlers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Black Liberation Theology is all about skin, not sin. "And did I mention he's black?" — Barack Obama

Obama has cavorted with and befriended extremists and the morally questionable. Business associate Antonin Rezko is sitting in prison; self-proclaimed home-grown terrorist William Ayers has never expressed regret for any of his despicable deeds against America, deeds which resulted in loss of human life.

It is time to fess up to our denial and admit what is blatantly obvious: Obama is a politician with plenty of baggage that does not reflect the life of a Christian or a patriotic American.

It is written in the Bible that we are judged by the company we keep. "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." (Psalm 1:1)

If Obama wants to dialogue on the issue of what is biblical, let us start with killing of the innocent unborn, what The Almighty says about marriage and the other myriad negatives that liberalism has brought to matters of faith. God will do the speaking on behalf of His people and the church triumphant. When God truly speaks, His children hear His voice. (John 10:27) Read all about the good life. It's in the Bible.
