Impostors of Freedom

The Democrat Party leadership can no longer claim to be friends or patriots of our great land. They are traitors using their newly gained powers to bully people with their hard-nosed attitudes.

Our troops need money to complete the job of winning the war in Iraq. Yes, the job of winning. Sadly, amongst us are traitors and defeatists. Our troops are courageous and they want to win and continue helping to stabilize a country that is being torn asunder.

There are cowardly voices calling out their weak cut-and-run strategy while helping to destroy a newly formed democracy in the Middle East. Denounce their behavior and demand that they stop immediately. Please contact every Democrat in Congress from your area; They are under the misguided impression that you are apathetic concerning whether we win or lose the fight in Iraq.

Every day we hear jackasses exude their crazed politically-driven fearmongering diatribe from the legislative halls; Democrat candidates who are running for the presidency are doing likewise. Can you imagine what the Iraqi people must feel listening to such an uncertain tenor?

An Iraqi government spokesman criticized the U.S. Senate and with good reason. "We see some negative signs in the decision because it sends wrong signals to some sides that might think of alternatives to the political process," Ali al-Dabbagh told The Associated Press.

He went on to say: "Coalition forces gave lots of sacrifices and they should continue their mission, which is building Iraqi security forces to take over," al-Dabbagh said. "We see it as a loss of four years of sacrifices."

The far Left media is insidiously embedded in our publicly owned airwaves, these they use for their political and social agenda. They are small-minded blowhards who are hell bent on seeing innocent Iraqis slaughtered for their political gain! They'd rather see us lose an important country to terrorists, so that President Bush will appear weak and helpless. They despise the president so intensely that they would place all Americans in danger.

There is no reason to feel disdain for Bush. The president has been protective of our nation. We have not been attacked since that tragic day in September of 2001. Although more needs to be done, even our border security problems are improving.

It is apparent that Democrats will not care if a bloodbath occurs in Iraq. The proof is in their own words. They understand the consequences of pulling out of a very vulnerable country. The young and old will die if America retreats from its promise to the people who suffered under the dictatorship of Saddam. Democrats don't seem to “feel the pain” inflicted upon an embattled country under attack by al-Qaeda.

People who know their history recall where the defeatist mindset has gotten us (an others less fortunate) the past. Vietnam is a horrific example of what happens when the far Left has its way.

It is said that human beings learn from our mistakes. There are exceptions. The phrase "useful idiots" was coined by Vladimir Lenin to describe the naïve, foolish people that he used to propagate Lenin's Communistic beliefs. Lenin used these sympathizers while laughing behind their backs.

In today's vernacular, the term is now used to describe people who are willingly manipulated. Americans need to pay attention to the agenda of the Democrats, who have mastered the skillful art of deceitfulness.

America has witnessed an onslaught of continual unwarranted attacks towards the Bush administration. Though this type of behavior should have never been tolerated in the first place, many have been utterly hypnotized by it. This is not what Americans ought to expect from those who should be working with the most influential man in the world, and one with perhaps the most difficult job in the world.

No president should have to contend with outrageous rants from the opposing party, especially in this day and age and given what America currently faces. We are fighting a war against terror, a war for our very existence.

Where is the nonpartisan cooperation that Americans were promised from the Democrat Party? Instead, they rake President Bush over the coals for doing his job.

The Senate voted to send Gen. David Petraeus to Iraq. Now they want to keep him from doing his job as well. The surge is showing great improvements, however, it has not met its full potential. More troops will arrive to take part in this well-planned military strategy, but the Democrats want to pull the plug. Does this make sense?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi did not meet with Gen. Petraeus when he came back to the states to describe the troops' accomplishments. She is not interested in saving the Iraqi people. Pelosi and her ilk clearly want to end all hope for a democracy in Iraq. The same must be said about Hillary Clinton and the rest of the Democrat candidates running for the job of Commander-in-Chief since they are all singing the same tune in this area.

" 'Believe me, I understand the frustration and the outrage,' Clinton said in a speech to the Democratic National Committee meeting that brought the party's nine White House hopefuls together for the first time. 'You have to have 60 votes to cap troops, to limit funding to do anything. If we in Congress don't end this war before January 2009, as president, I will.’” The Associated Press

Democrats are like the people Vladimir Lenin described. They are politically naive and foolish. They are unwise, callous and incapable of running our great nation at this very crucial and dangerous time in history.

Democrats in Congress believe they are more informed than the president when it comes to foreign policy. Old players with book deals creep back into the agenda-driven news media, like ex-CIA Director George Tenet, a boisterous angry Democrat who is using caustic words to sell his new book. It seems not to matter that the highly politicized 9/11 Commission did not find any evidence that the Bush administration exaggerated the facts to justify going into Iraq.

We need to remember the horrible images of reality. Remember September the 11th. Islamic terrorists murdered thousands of innocent men, women and children, and, if given the opportunity, they will do it again.

Just this past week al-Qaeda was linked to planning more attacks in London and Saudi Arabia. The terrorists are being agitated and emboldened by the Democrats. If we lose in Iraq, generations to come will never know another peace-filled day. It is high noon in America as well as in the Middle East.

The war in Iraq has become the main battleground of Good versus Evil. The good Iraqis — brave soldiers, police force, health givers, and others — with the help of coalition forces are fighting for their lives and for freedom.

How dare the Democrats tell the Iraqi people to stand up and take control of their own country? That's exactly what they have been trying to do. They continually struggle to bring peace to their land. They risk their lives every day. God bless the new courageous Iraqi president, his parliament and cabinet.

Unfortunately, in our country, ugly attacks emanate from Democrats who repeatedly try to knife President Bush in the back. Their words, actions, and deeds are vicious and cruel. These arrogant Stalinist Democrats have spent "seventy eight" days wasting precious time by writing bills that undercut our troops. They are obstructionists.

The Democrat Party leadership can no longer claim to be friends or patriots of our great land. They are traitors using their newly gained powers to bully people with their hard-nosed attitudes. The plans they have conceived are diabolical and ruthless death sentences for the people of Iraq. They are immoral and irresponsible impostors of freedom, truth and justice.
