Sabotaging Our Country And Iraq

There is no longer a reason to dance around the topic or mince any words. Those who oppose the president's new plans for Iraq are trying so to prevent him from doing his job as Commander-In-Chief. They want to render him useless and humiliate him.

The new Democrat Congress is sending a clear signal to all the terrorists that we are cowards who do not support our troops.

We all were fed demagoguery by the Democrats before the 2006 midterm election. Are you in shock?

The Democrats have no constructive plans to share with President Bush. They continue to malign and denigrate our country.

The opposition party is politicizing lives away in Iraq. The Middle East will become totally unstable if we do not stop their folly.

There is no more guess work as to what the progressives have in mind. Their intentions are neither honorable nor noble. Some of them are anti-Semitic and loath Israel. They would rather side with and pamper the Palestinians who align themselves with the terrorist organization Hamas.

It is apparent that too many Democrats and some RINO, Republicans will have absolutely no problem abandoning the Iraqi people. They will go to bed at night and allow a nation to crumble without losing one hour of sleep. They are miserable and contemptible. We need to gear up now with a goal of winning the 2008 election.

As the holidays passed President George Bush carefully waited and conferred with the very best of strategists. His plan to help Iraq is sound and it will work. Iraq will be a country to promote democracy throughout the Middle East, and not a place where terrorists can launch their anger upon America or any other nation.

However, once again the media and others in this country are out there emboldening the Jihadis, displaying their foolish insolence.

Senator Barack Obama said: "Iraq was a major issue in last year's election. But that election is now over. We need to stop the campaign."

How will the Democrats do their seditious work? They will vote against our efforts in Iraq. It is not merely a symbolic vote. They are setting the stage to stop the funding of the troops in Iraq while interfering with the president's agenda.

Excerpts from The New York Times:

"Democrats Plan Symbolic Votes Against Iraq Plan"

"WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 — Democratic leaders said Tuesday that they intended to hold symbolic votes in the House and Senate on President Bush's plan to send more troops to Baghdad, forcing Republicans to take a stand on the proposal and seeking to isolate the president politically over his handling of the war.

"Senate Democrats decided to schedule a vote on the resolution after a closed-door meeting on a day when Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts introduced legislation to require Mr. Bush to gain Congressional approval before sending more troops to Iraq.

"The Senate vote is expected as early as next week, after an initial round of committee hearings on the plan Mr. Bush will lay out for the nation Wednesday night in a televised address delivered from the White House library, a setting chosen because it will provide a fresh backdrop for a presidential message.

"The office of Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House, followed with an announcement that the House would also take up a resolution in opposition to a troop increase. House Democrats were scheduled to meet Wednesday morning to consider whether to interrupt their carefully choreographed 100-hour, two-week-long rollout of their domestic agenda this month to address the Iraq war.

"In both chambers, Democrats made clear that the resolutions — which would do nothing in practical terms to block Mr. Bush's intention to increase the United States military presence in Iraq — would be the minimum steps they would pursue. They did not rule out eventually considering more muscular responses, like seeking to cap the number of troops being deployed to Iraq or limiting financing for the war — steps that could provoke a Constitutional and political showdown over the president's power to wage war.

"The resolutions would represent the most significant reconsideration of Congressional support for the war since it began, and mark the first big clash between the White House and Congress since the November election, which put the Senate and House under the control of the Democrats. The decision to pursue a confrontation with the White House was a turning point for Democrats, who have struggled with how to take on Mr. Bush's war policy without being perceived as undermining the military or risking criticism as defeatists.

"'If you really want to change the situation on the ground, demonstrate to the president he's on his own,' said Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. 'That will spark real change.' "Click Here

Like ravenous vultures, the dysfunctional media pounces on every death in Iraq, civilian or otherwise. They spotlight every negative event. There has never been any effort to show the good that happens everyday for the Iraqi people. Where is the balance? It is not complete mayhem as they would have us believe. Our troops understand this better than anyone.

Many former and current service men and women are speaking out to tell the truth about all the good that is going on in Iraq. However the only people listening are those who gather around the conservative talk shows, where they are welcomed.

The Alphabetical media is not interested in the truth. The media will not allow the patriotic troops to shed the light of day in support of what is going on in Iraq.

The media attempts to manipulate every thing political. It also tries to shape our views on everything that touches our every-day life. We have allowed it to do so.

There is a good reason why they showcase the terrorists. They are willfully trying to demoralize their own country. They pick and choose everything that is shown and heard over our airwaves.

The president and the top U.S. generals in Iraq tell us that the new plan for Baghdad may take months to yield results. However, if we are patient, we will see the good accomplishments. In the meantime we will be told by the media that all is lost and it's time to bring our troops back home.

The defeatists want to create a misunderstanding in the minds of the American public that there is no wining in Iraq. They do not want the president's strategy to work.

Miracles happen. However, the fact that the brave Iraqi people voted for their own constitution and have formed their own government does not seem to impress the leftists in this country.

The Iraqi people walked over the dead bodies and proudly displayed their purple fingers. It was a sign that they had voted and they would not be dissuaded by the terrorists. The Iraqi people want their freedom. Their hopes and dreams will not be dashed.

It is without a doubt that the Democrats and their arrogant actions are in reality trying to steal the Iraqi elections from under them. They have been sabotaging our own country for six years, and are trying to do the same to Iraq. Don't let them.
