The Savage Nation Versus The Dying Nation
"There Is No England Now..." - The Kinks

In recent days the second administration in the United Kingdom has denied radio host Michael Savage entry into that country for dubious reasons.

In recent days the second administration in the United Kingdom has denied radio host Michael Savage entry into that country for dubious reasons. The most outstandingly ludicrous of these is the assumption that Savage promotes violence and hatred. This comes from a country that does not even get Savage’s radio show – The Savage Nation – broadcast within its borders.

Savage’s book Banned in Britain outlines the ban by the Brown administration which was continued into the new administration. I suggest you purchase it online. Go to http://www.michaelsavage.wnd.com/ to see if it’s still available. The full story is amazing in its bold indifference to sanity. Freedom of speech takes another torpedo as the once powerful and influential Great Britain relinquishes its spine to blatant censorship and utter weakness...

This all makes me want to write an open letter beginning with this intro: Dear UK: You’ve become France. How do you like that? Long live the spineless…

At any rate, this is yet another “elephant in the living room” that will yet again be ignored by the American mediocre media. Nothing will be said by other talk show hosts. Savage is not part of the cigar smoking boys club.

And I hope he doesn’t want to be. There is a great advantage to being seen as an outsider. It means you can’t be bought.

This brings me to another, semi-related topic. This week, CNN nobody Rick Sanchez (who?) claimed that radio talk show hosts were “uneducated”. While he is correct that those like Limbaugh, Hannity and others are blessed with a high school education, completely ignored is the stark fact that Michael Savage, host of the third largest radio talk show in the nation, possesses a PhD and two Masters Degrees. Also, Savage has authored over 20 books, including 4 New York Times best sellers. So much for listening to the credibility of some overweight anchorman on a network that nobody watches anymore.

Genuine ignorance can sometimes be understandable if someone actually has no knowledge of something. But voluntary ignorance is a perjury of the soul and the rape of reality.

As the Liberal media and the United Kingdom fiddle while they burn, it gives those of us who are independent thinkers pause. It gives us the flare in the night sky that is telling us that our civilization has tumbled into near irrelevance. But it also accomplishes another ideal: it gives those of us who can see the writing on the wall motivation in that we know, deep down inside, that it will be us who will be around to pick up the pieces.
