Fox and Friends Program Denigrates Governor Sarah Palin?

Did anyone else watch FNC’s Fox and Friends Saturday? Did you hear what I heard? Was I temporarily in some alternate universe? Were any of you as shocked as I was over Alyson Camarata’s almost non-stop belittling of Governor Sarah Palin (R-AK)? Ms. Camarata droned on and on asking questions about Palin’s experience and over and over again mocked her by saying ‘she used to hunt before she went to school’ and ’she used to hunt moose and caribou before she went to school’. At Saturday’s program end, two pretty obviously leftist blogger guests were interviewed (one of whom said her mother had “dated Joe Biden”) when one of the bloggers said that Palin now had the “sympathy vote” because she was raising a Down’s syndrome child. The bloggers, Camarata and her co-host then proceeded to laugh at this comment! In my opinion this was pretty ugly and went way beyond the pale of television commentary. Note: The laughter very plainly and succinctly indicated agreement with the Down’s syndrome comment. This was an unconscionable performance.

In the past, this sort of behavior has been relegated to professed leftist-leaning MSNBC and its attack-dog-for-Obama-and-any-other-leftist/Marxist puerile Keith Olbermann. We already know that this station—and probably CNN, ABC and CBS—are endorsing Obama; if not overtly saying so the majority of their questionable “reporting” advertises their support. But, now it appears that Fox News—which appears to have been moving steadily to the Left for a couple of years—has now joined its MSNBC comrades in both extremely mean-spirited bad taste and quite possibly political ideology.

Question: Didn’t Fox News Channel suspend if not take E.D. Hill and her show off of the air for repeating something she had heard—referring to a “terrorist fist bump” between Barack Obama and his wife Michelle? After those on the Left have made demeaning and/or or horrific statements about someone on the Right, all that they have to do is apologize and their cases are closed. E.D. did so. Does FNC now support demeaning and vilifying only Republicans or conservatives? It appears so as—as of this writing no apology has departed the mouth of Ms. Camarata or any of her cohorts for their Saturday conduct.

To be fair, on Saturday morning I sent an email to FNC for clarification of Saturday’s Fox and Friends program antics and to query whether or not Fox had joined the alphabet networks in endorsing Obama for POTUS. Not surprisingly, I have heard nothing back from Fox.

I simply cannot understand why the Left continues to vilify the Fox News Channel. They have joined you, guys! Perhaps it’s due to the fact that FNC still employs a few from the other political side. However, the way things seem to be developing at Fox, the conservative commentators may also soon be relegated to memories from the past.
