Today's "Braticals" - ANTIFA and The Squad

What a great country, the USA. In how many other countries could arrested-development adolescent and adult leftists behaving as toddlers and throwing temper-tantrums while bullying anyone who doesn't agree with them freely join a terrorist group (ANTIFA) or even become a member of the US House of Representatives with no consequences for their vile childish acts?

The monumental failure of our costly public education system is bearing fruit.

We have generations of young people with arrested development, both emotionally and educationally.

They never learned to deal with the reality that the world doesn't revolve around their every wish. Fawned over by permissive parents who never disciplined their children, encouraged by a culture that doted on their "self-esteem" rather than teaching them to deal with a life that isn't fair, these generations include many who hadn't the gumption to figure it out on their own (as many others have).

Far too many of those who were indoctrinated by a school system that failed to discipline them and deliberately short-changed them on the history of the USA, have now become the tools of the radical left. Radicalized spoiled brats are today's braticals. They know little, are angry that the world isn't catering to their every wish, and as a consequence they lash out in defiance of reality.

Pity them for the ignorant fools they are. They are so consumed with their own fantasies, they cannot grasp how silly they appear to others.

These are the problem children of today and they come in all ages. Proportionately more of younger ages since many children received inadequate public education while having endured a childhood with absentee parents. Braticals are the arrested-development "children" who hadn't the inherent capacity and intelligence to mature on their own so they failed to adjust to a world that refuses to jump to their every whistle.

What becomes of these braticals who do not mature?

Many join groups like the Fascist ANTIFA thugs who hide behind masks while bullying and beating others. Of course, oxymoronic groups such as ANTIFA are a favorite tactic of the left. The big lie for many decades has been that the Nazis (members of the National Socialist German Worker's Party) and Fascists are "right-wing" when, in fact, both Nazis and Fascists are left-wing socialist who put the state superior to the individual and which lack freedom for their citizens. In short, they are socialists, leftists. The only difference between the Progressives, Marxists, and Communists and the Nazis and Fascists is that whereas Progressives, Marxists, and Communists are internationalists who believe in global domination by organizing around a global governmental institution (e.g., the U.N.), the Nazis and Fascists are nationalist and believe in spreading their socialism by either armed force or alliances with other nationalist socialists.

The true meaning of "right" and "left" are as barometers of individual power and state power. Those who are "right-wing" support minimalist government that honors the rights of the individual as superior to state power and see the state as existing to protect the rights of the individual. Those who are "left-wing" support government where the state is superior to the individual and see individuals as existing to serve the interests of the state. A constitutional republic whose constitution severely limits government power is an example of a right-wing government. A socialist state that is all-powerful and suppresses individual rights to the interests of the state is an example of a left-wing government.

Modern institutions of education have become populated with faculty and administrations that favor left-wing politics. Consequently, history is either not taught or it is revised to serve the interests of the left. Dictionaries have been revised to redefine words in Orwellian acts reminiscent of 1984's Ministry of Truth. This is a form of Orwellian "newspeak" that simply redefines "right" and "left" to mean something that allows the far-left to tar all their opponents as Nazis. Many modern dictionaries will often list Nazis and Fascists as "right-wing" when, in fact, they are a variant of left-wing government (it is even in the very name Nazi!). Another example of how the left will lie to achieve their ends ("the end justifies the means").

Because the left's favorite tactic is the big smear (it's difficult to tell when they're lying or just being grossly ignorant), they take a single characteristic of Nazis and Fascists, nationalism, and use that characteristic to smear those who put their nation first, even if that nation is far removed from socialism, Naziism, and Fascism and deplores socialism and the left for the evil it is.

Just because he loves the USA, left-wing braticals smear President Trump as a "Nazi" and "Fascist" when such charges are silly on their face. Trump has decried the false narratives of socialism and promises the USA will "never be socialist." The silliness of trying to smear someone as a national socialist when that person is the mortal enemy of socialism! But that is the state of knowledge of the braticals.

A nation that reveres "free speech" also provides a pathway for the grossly uneducated or terminally stupid that allows them to achieve the status of member of our House of Representatives. "The Squad" of four younger women have a view of our nation and its history that has been nurtured by those on the left who despise our Constitutional Republic for making the individual supreme over the state.

The four braticals of "The Squad" use their public profile to spew their vile lies and ignorant leftist venom, while name-calling decent Americans who love the only major nation on the planet that was founded on the belief that the individual is superior to the state.

Our Constitutional Republic is not a "democracy" and those who label it a "democracy" do a major disservice to our nation. Are you aware that the word "democracy" is not found in any form in either our Declaration of Independence or our Constitution that defines our form of government? Not once! And for good reason.

Why is the USA a Constitutional Republic and not a Democracy? Two reasons.

First, the USA was designed to be a representative government where citizens elect representatives to both their state and federal government in accordance with the constitutions of each governing body (state and federal).

Because the USA is a collection of individual states representing individual citizens, each state also has representatives in Congress (Senators). A major blow to our constitutional system was struck by the Progressive Woodrow Wilson who illicitly declared the 17th amendment ratified (when it was never really was legitimately ratified). That action had the effect of changing how Senators were selected.

Rather than state legislatures choosing their Senators, Senators were now determined by a vote of the citizens of the state. This effectively disenfranchised state governments in Congress, a move that has created a host of problems over the years, the most egregious being programs that are at odds with our Constitution (e.g., mandated social security, mandated medicare, Dept. of Education, etc.). It also removed the whole purpose for having two legislative bodies in Congress (one to represent the interests of state governments, one to represent the interests of state citizens).

The actions of left-wing Progressives a century ago have had terrible consequences on our nation. Few people have actually read our Constitution and even fewer really understand that it does not create rights, it protects them. Our Constitution also severely limits the powers of federal government (Article I, Section 8). There is no legitimate constitutional power for our federal government to create any social welfare programs! Nothing empowers federal government to create social security or medicare programs. Sadly, they have never been properly challenged on the basis that they are programs reserved to the states (at their option). See the 10th Amendment to our Constitution.

Second, and the most important reason our Founders carefully avoided even a mention of "democracy" is the very nature of democracy.

Example: Suppose Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, and Angelina Jolie are shipwrecked on a Pacific island. A democracy would have them vote on how to pass the time. This is also a good example of the folly of "the greater good" of socialism that serves the interests of the majority at the expense of the minority.

Do you still think "democracy" is a good form of government?

It is no wonder the Democrat Party is coming apart at the seams. It is a self-destructive concept that ultimately leads to politicians promising people anything for a vote ("you can keep your health plan" "you can keep your doctor") despite knowing that such promises must fail in the long run.

Appeals for socialism never tell the whole truth or warn of the adverse consequences. Socialism is economically unsustainable. Health care "for all" benefits only the young, who rarely need the benefit. When the young need the benefit (e.g., cancer, etc.), they will learn what older citizens already know. A socialized health care system does not deliver based on health care needs; it delivers based on costs. Long waits for needed treatments are a deliberate attempt to keep costs down by patient attrition.

Examine the experiences of countries where socialized health care is practiced. Stories of poor treatment, physician shortages, and patients who succumbed to their affliction for lack of prompt or proper treatment would shock most Americans. These are the hidden "costs" of "free" healthcare (nobody works for "free").

The simple truth about "tooth-fairy socialist healthcare" was best summed up by P. J. O'Rourke: "If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it’s free." (May 1993)

Nobody in their right mind would champion "Medicare for all" if they understood the consequences of such a program. As proposed by leading Democrat candidates for President, "free" health care (is not a "right" Bernie, it's a responsibility of the individual), would abolish all private practices and private health insurance. So not only would people who have responsibly taken on the obligation to provide health care insurance for their family lose their private plans, they would also lose the choice of which physician they could see.

Any single-payer system ultimately takes all choices out of the hands of the patient and puts them in the hands of the all-knowing, all-powerful government bureaucracy. Doctor shortages are guaranteed. Quality of care is guaranteed to suffer. Life expectancy will decline. And health care taxation will skyrocket.

Do we really want braticals running our country? Do you really want Democrats to run our country?

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
