Obamalaise:  A President Out of Touch and Clueless

While news media continue to salivate over Barack Hussein Obama's re-election, the country continues to suffer under this boorish President who demonstrates on a daily basis his utter contempt for the people and lack of qualification for the office he holds.

Definition: Obamalaise: That condition of a country that breeds despair, job loss, massive debt, financial ruin, civil strife, and loss of personal freedoms to support an ever-growing massive federal bureaucracy designed to restrict and control every facet of life.

During George Bush's terms in office, he was constantly denigrated by a news media lacking any real credibility. A common assault on Bush was that he was dumb, clueless, and out-of-touch with real America. Name-calling is the stock-in-trade of inept journalists too lazy to do real work. Yet when it comes to Barack Hussein Obama, he can do no wrong in the distorted eyes of the news media.

Time and again, Obama has shown his utter contempt for America and its people. He refuses to enforce laws he personally doesn't like. That is not a proper prerogative of any President. Through the "Executive Order" procedure, he abuses his office by imposing as "law" edicts for which he has no constitutional authority. His signal achievement (other than single-handedly taking out Osama bin Laden) is the highly-questionable enactment of a massive "affordable health care" law that will reduce timely access to the best health care, remove health care choice from the People, and add massive costs to an already unsustainable federal fiscal quagmire. And the American people overwhelmingly oppose this imposition on their health care choices (more than 50% oppose "Obamacare" while only 39% support it).

Obama's first term has been a dismal failure by any reasonable measure. Unemployment soared and remained well above levels typical for his predecessor. Deficit spending remained at historic highs imposed by Democrats following their 2006 electoral victories in Congress. Obama deceives when he claims he hasn't raised deficits because he was part of the Democrat Congress that soared the deficit to an unprecedented $1.4 trillion in Bush's last year as President and now Obama has averaged deficits of $1.3 trillion per year ever since! Democrats appropriated and spent under Bush by tying bloated spending to critical programs that they knew Bush would not veto. Then Democrats blamed Bush for their own excesses. Those who buy the "I inherited massive deficits from Bush" line are either ignorant or simply fools.

This history of Obama's deception and lying is compounded by his "divide and conquer" campaign to get re-elected. The despicable US news media are complicit with his deceptions and campaign to divide the American people and pit young against old, women against men, minorities against majorities, poor against rich, jobless against job providers, and exploit any other groups he can pit against each other for his own personal gain.

His most recent gaffe, "If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen" is an affront to reality and civil discourse. This statement clearly demonstrates how clueless Obama is about how jobs are really created by a free market system unencumbered by busybody bureaucrats empowered by mountains of regulations designed to restrict the very freedoms this nation was founded upon.

It is no wonder we are on the brink of financial collapse after four years of gross mismanagement, excessive regulation, sustained high unemployment, and massive increases in government debt that will saddle today's younger generations with future payments for today's obscene Obamadebt created to pay for Obama's giveaway programs designed to purchase re-election votes at the expense of our country's future.

If you like Obamalaise; if you like high unemployment; if you like government by edict; if you like the politics of fear and envy; if you like record increases in welfare and food stamps; if you like record increases in funding for "disabled"; if you like massive annual deficits and rapidly growing federal debt; if you like dividing our nation's people through class warfare and pitting one group against another; if you like the prospect of financial collapse of our nation; if you like the first-ever downgrading of US Bonds; if you like tyrannical rule by an inept buffoon who ignores his oath to our Constitution; if you like seeing the collapse of America and its economy; if you like supporting a corrupt news media who haven't the time to question Obama's forged birth certificate but have ample concern for the private tax returns of his opponent, Gov. Mitt Romney; if you like this picture and it fits your vision for America, then vote for Barack Hussein Obama in 2012.

If, on the other hand, you respect our Constitution and the freedoms it guarantees and you want to demonstrate that fact, then vote for Mitt Romney in 2012 to begin the restoration of America as a fiscally responsible constitutional republic respective of the role of free market economics and governed not by the whims of a despot, but by those with a proper respect for the constitutional laws of our nation.

This is a turning point in our history. We can choose the path of restoration, peacefully, through the ballot.

Or we can witness the re-election of a tyrannical despot who governs by edict and who is committed to the destruction of our nation and the constitutional principles upon which it was founded.

The latter course will inevitably lead to violence as those determined to protect the precious liberties for which so many have sacrificed throughout our history come in conflict with those who are determined to destroy our heritage and freedoms. If such violence comes, those in the education establishment and news media who have aided and abetted the corruption of federal governance will necessarily be held accountable just as severely as those who have sought the destruction of our constitutional republic.

Our Declaration of Independence reminds us that "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it" and "when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce [the people] under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security." This is why our Second Amendment guarantees the People the right to bear arms. Our Declaration of Independence obligates us to use whatever force is necessary to ensure the survival of our constitutional republic. It is worth noting that every member of our armed forces has sworn an oath to protect and defend our Constitution. Ultimately, it will be their obligation to abide by their sworn oath, particularly if they receive a command contrary to that oath.

Our limited constitutional government is under assault as never before in our nations's history since it's inception following our Revolutionary War. It is the duty and obligation of all Americans to support our Constitution and the Republic it created. This can only be done by beginning the process to constrain our Federal Government to its proper constitutional bounds as laid down in the enumerated powers of Article I, Section 8 of our Constitution.

The choice is yours, America. Freedom and Peace under our Constitution, or Bondage and Violence under a despot.

Make your choice on November 6th wisely.

Biography - Bob Webster

Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.

A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
