They're "Illegal Aliens" - not "Illegal Immigrants"
The extreme to which the "usual suspects" in the "hate America first" gang will go to bash America and anyone who professes traditional American values of honesty, civility, and trustworthyness seems to have no end. There is hardly a day that goes by when that crowd's leaders in our Senate don't pontificate from an assumed position of superiority on virtually any subject they can seize upon to denigrate America and traditional American values. The most current and the hottest of such topics is the issue concerning how we deal with "illegal aliens" - those who have entered our country illegally to benefit from education, housing, employment and medical services for which they are not entitled.
What is it about the more liberal elements of our society that makes them automatically support the efforts of these illegal aliens? Is it a misplaced sense of tolerance? Some self-loathing or sense of self-failure that compels them to want to give the hard-earned benefits of Americans to illegal aliens? Or is it a self-serving desire to have their political persuasion benefit from an influx of illegal aliens-turned-voters? Whatever the reason, like most liberal impulses, it is without rational foundation.
In an effort to counter the pervasive bias of the "Main Stream Media" (aka, "MSM") with their daily onslaught in support of the liberal orthodoxy on "immigration reform" (while they purposfully and deviously avoid the correct phrase "illegal alien"), I have provided a link below that presents the text of a letter to Senator Frist (R-TN) written by David J. Stoddard of Arizona, who served as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent for 27 years. The letter is reproduced along with the text of Mr. Stoddard's testimony before Congress on this same subject (was anyone listening?). The link is courtesy of the absolute best site for checking out suspicious email messages claiming everything from cash for forwarding email messages to help locating a missing little girl ... Please read Mr. Stoddard's Letter and Testimony. You will have a far better understanding of the illegal alien problem after reading Stoddard's material than will you get by reading months of drivel in either the New York Times or Washington Post.

Biography - Bob Webster
Bob Webster, a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s) is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.
A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
