Understanding Donald Trump – and Ourselves

Folks on all sides of the political spectrum are absolutely muddled trying to understand President Donald Trump. Those on the left and right are apoplectic over his jibes, tweeting and directness. “He certainly isn’t a true conservative,” they huff.

Before the election, Lock Piatt described him in a way we are slowly beginning to understand: "The current tribal view of Donald is wrong. How many have lived in New York City for years but never became part of the real NY culture? Queens, Staten Island, New Jersey and other boroughs are very loud and harsh speaking people. They sound like dock workers and fishmongers; Trump is no exception. He is a little rough around the edges but after all he is a Construction man who sees NFL kneelers for what they are.

He arrived just in time for our hurricane ravaged areas to be restored better than before, ahead of schedule and under budget.

Journalist Suzanne Eovaldi wrote about Trump: “What some critics see as a bull in a china shop approach to Politics USA really is a reflection of Trump as the American everyman. Donald Trump's honesty, basic goodness, and courageous refusal to give in to the corrosive political correctness present him as our man of all seasons… a leader who rises to the occasion in our time of most need!  The ideology now strangling us by our worthless and deceptive political class literally has been put in Trump's bright white glare of exposure.”

I see POTUS as a type of King David who did some sordid things, yet grew to become “a man after God’s own heart.” He composed the Psalms and fathered the wise King Solomon. Trump has had his share of adventures, both in his personal and business lives. He has emerged with a solid set of intelligent, well-disciplined exemplary children and a brand and business empire that has taken him all over the world, building and operating beautiful, quality projects. He finally emerged with a truly feminine wife – a far cry from the modern trend toward hard feminism that tortures society today.

I also see him as childlike. Being childlike is his greatest strength and why his detractors fail to understand him – whether conservative, progressive or variations on those themes. Childlikeness is demonstrated by his love for Beauty and Quality – as Jesus said, “…of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

The left’s obsession is with race, gender and sexual urge, rather than diverse human gifts and talents. It drives them to the point they believe it is the norm, demanding our children participate with them while we are to remain silent.

Trump is out of his element in the totalitarian sewer. He understands human potential and exploits it. Who else has put so many talented women in key positions? Politicians, journalists, bureaucrats and academicians need to crawl out of their collective pit and seek the Beauty and freedom that surrounds us. Trump and his newfound spirituality, surrounded by pastors and prophets, can show the way with a lot of help from his friends who love and believe in God and Country.

President Donald Trump is the ideal man for our times. In his campaign he started the process of destroying political correctness that has stifled intelligent discourse leading to loss of freedoms and the rise of anarchy.

Our Founding documents have their foundation in the Beauty of the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution has given us an Ethic and the Bill of Rights their protection. Seek Beauty and its Author first, and the rest will fall into place. Of such is the kingdom of heaven – and the way to Make America Great (and Beautiful) Again.
