United Mine Workers no longer supporting Obama as they did in spades in 2008

There was an announcement this past week that the United Mine Workers of America will not be not supporting Obama this time, as they wholeheartedly did in 2008. CLUE: Over 50% of the electricity generated in this country is generated by coal.

Labor unions are wising up to the fact that Obama and his snakes only care about controlling public employee unions - the leaders of which are the future "satraps" in his supreme caliphate.

(From Wikipedia) Satrap: In modern usage it also applies to people who abuse power or authority. It can refer as well to those living in luxurious and ostentatious conditions or to individuals who act astutely and even disloyally. (Sounds like the "... agents sent to eat out the people's substance" the founders lamented in the Declaration of Independence.)

I wrote this to my local paper in 1998 when the problem reared its ugly head:

THE BAKERSFIELD CALIFORNIAN

Dear Editor:

I’m for labor unions, but have a real problem with public employee unions. There’s a “Catch-22” here, because public employees need some form of collective bargaining at times, but the power they exercise in the body politic has become a possibly terminal cancer in our society.

When they run their own candidates or push the election of others, they are cementing the status quo and bureaucratic inefficiency into the workings of the community and nation. See what a horrible price our children and wallets have paid for the power of the now well entrenched educational establishment!

One politician’s ad sneers that his opponent has a “0” National Education Association rating. That, for those of us who hate socialism from the core of our beings, is the highest praise one could reap on a candidate. For the rest of you, cry for your beloved country for what you are doing to it!
