The sad reality is that they actually believe they are telling the truth. Would you fault a Martian for believing there is no such thing as water, which they have never encountered on their world?

It has been bugging me how politicians and media can keep repeating debunked lies over and over. I thought - don't they not have a conscience or sense of integrity? It is obvious to me and millions of others that they are lying.

Listening to Obama repeat the same nonsense on the Campaign trail for Joe B, as though he never heard of the reason why it is nonsense I realized that is exactly the problem. Obama and the Democrat Leftists never heard of the reason why it is nonsense, They really do not know their points have been debunked.

They do not listen to any other information except their echo chamber of peers, media, Politicians, scientists and educators.

We are so much more divided lately because it is so easy to stay in the echo chamber.

There are still people who seek out all sides of an argument or all the facts. But it is getting more and more rare. At this point most one-siders are so propagandized and influenced that they are not even able to formulate that it's possible there may be something other than what they have been told.

So don't argue or get angry at your leftist friends and family. Appeal to their curiosity. They want to know how YOU can be so disconnected from their reality. Explain how our reality is inner and only partially based on objective reality. It's based on what our education, experience and beliefs are. If we are are only exposed to one set/side we can never know the truth or interact properly with those who don't share the same beliefs.

That is nothing new. The only difference between the Cult of Jim Jones and The cult of the Left is the effects of drinking their Kool-Aid. One Kills the person and the other hypnotizes the person but kills the country and society.
