A well-known actor and filmmaker is speaking out on abortion, illegal immigration, radical Islam, and the New World Order. He says Progressives are destroying America.

Golden Globe, Emmy, and Tony Award winning actor, writer, and musician as well as conservative patriot, Michael Moriarty recently announced his interest in running for President of the United States in 2008. He's doing it to take on Hollywood's liberal-left establishment and the Globalists.

"If a Hollywood star denigrates the war on terrorism or promotes gay marriage, he or she is welcomed with open arms by the Oprah Winfreys of the world. But if he or she holds views that are considered conservative or libertarian, doors begin to close," said Moriarty.

He's currently preparing to screen his new motion picture, "Hitler Meets Christ," at an upcoming California film festival. Besides starring in the film, Moriarty wrote the screenplay.

Moriarty, best known for his role as Assistant District Attorney Ben Stone on television's "Law & Order", is a politically active conservative-libertarian who's outspoken on a number of issues including abortion, illegal immigration, Islamofascism and the New World Order.

In 1993, Moriarty gained notoriety amongst conservatives during his public battle with former Attorney General Janet Reno. Moriarty was an outspoken critic of her efforts to curb violence on television, in which she threatened to intervene if television executives didn’t comply with her demands.

According to Moriarty, he was essentially blackballed by NBC and slowly written out of the series because of his outspoken criticisms of Reno. Eventually, Moriarty departed from "Law & Order".

In 1973, Moriarty was cast opposite Robert DeNiro in "Bang the Drum Slowly," a film about friendship between two baseball teammates. Also in 1973, Moriarty starred in a TV movie adaptation of "The Glass Menagerie" opposite Katherine Hepburn. Moriarty's role in Menagerie won him an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor and Supporting Actor of the Year. Coincidentally, the film also featured Sam Waterston, who took over the role Executive Assistant District Attorney on "Law & Order."

His film credits include Clint Eastwood's "The Pale Rider," "Hanoi Hilton," "Report to the Commissioner," "Q," "A Return to Salem's Lot," and many others. He starred in the acclaimed mini-series "Holocaust" playing a Nazi who degenerates into a cold-blooded murderer (which earned him another Emmy Award). Last Christmas he appeared in the TV movie "Santa Baby" playing Jenny McCarthy's boss.

While Moriarty continues his acting career he gained attention in Canada as being an outspoken critic of their oppressive tax system, strict gun-control laws and taxpayer-funded health-care system.
