Is Marco Rubio "the Republican (and Cuban) Obama"?

Like ambitious President Obama, ambitious Rubio obviously lied about his origin, so there is a basis for calling Rubio "the Republican (and Cuban) Obama."

On February 2, 2016, Yahoo!News put out a Marco Rubio puff piece titled "Rubio: The Republican (and Cuban) Obama" (http://news.yahoo.com/rubio-republican-cuban-obama-073107171.html).

Unfortunately, the article left out the most revealing similarity between the current President and Rubio: they lied about their origins to provide a more appealing story, demonstrating their untrustworthiness and willingness to lie to tell a better story.

Remember Obama saying he was born because his parents were inspired by the Selma March?

The truth is that Obama was born years BEFORE the Selma March.

See the video Obama of lying at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7QxgN5YegE with this summary:

"Listen as Obama speaks with a jive accent and completely fabricates how and why his parents gave birth to him. He tries to give the Selma Voting Rights March credit for his parents meeting and giving birth to him. However, he was born in 1961 and the Selma Voting Rights March DID NOT even take place until 1965."

Likewise Rubio lied about his parents fleeing Castro's Cuba.

Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Rubio):

"In October 2011, newspapers reported that Rubio's previous statements that his parents were forced to leave Cuba in 1959, after Fidel Castro came to power, were incorrect. His parents left Cuba in 1956, during the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. According to The Washington Post, Rubio's 'embellishments' resonated with many voters in Florida, and the newspaper claimed they would be less impressed by his family being economic migrants instead of political refugees from a communist regime. Rubio responded, saying: 'The real essence of my family's story is not about the date my parents first entered the United States. Or whether they traveled back and forth between the two nations. Or even the date they left Fidel Castro's Cuba forever and permanently settled here. The essence of my family story is why they came to America in the first place, and why they had to stay.'"

So, pray tell, why did Rubio lie about the "details" of his "family story"?

Yahoo!News did not repeat the lie that Rubio's parents had fled Castro's Cuba, but they ignored it (even though it would buttressw the case that Rubio is "the Republican (and Cuban) Obama."

Yahoo!News:

"As a child, Rubio assured his exiled grandfather he would overthrow Fidel Castro to lead Cuba.

"He was born in Miami in 1971, the son of poor Cuban refugees who fled the island 15 years earlier to escape poverty.

"After Castro seized power in 1959, the family decided never to return to Cuba, a country Rubio has never known.

"But Cuba is a recurring theme for the first-term senator, whose ambitions reflect those of generations of refugees eager to carve out better lives in America."

Is Cruz running for President of the United States in order to liberate and lead Cuba?

Only God and Rubio know for sure.

But this much is clear: Like ambitious President Obama, ambitious Rubio obviously lied about his origin, so there is a basis for calling Rubio "the Republican (and Cuban) Obama."
