Brown Win, Beck Documentary and Obama/ACORN Truth Put Obama/Far Left in Political Peril

Obama's personal popularity is based on the general willingness of Americans to give him the benefit of the doubt, the wickedness or willful blindness of the liberal media establishment in covering Obama, the wimpiness and ineptness of Fox News's Bill O'Reilly in "warring" with The New York Times on the spiking of an Obama/ACORN expose in October 2008 and the wariness of O'Reilly of questioning Obama's integrity and investigating ACORN's relationship with the Democrat Party.

Senior political analyst Michael Barone was inspired by the Massachusetts miracle (Republican Scott Brown's victory over Democrat Martha Coakley in the race for the United States Senate seat long occupied by the late Ted Kennedy) to write an article titled "If Republicans run as strongly as Brown, only 103 House Dems are safe."

Barone:

"Republican Scott Brown won 52%-47% in Massachusetts, which voted 62%-36% for Barack Obama in 2008. How did he do in each of Massachusetts’s 10 congressional districts, all of which are represented by Democrats who have been reelected without much opposition this decade? Blogger Fred Bauer has attempted to calculate the results, omitting results in cities or towns which are split between congressional districts. Bauer shows Coakley winning 80%-20% in Michael Capuano’s 8th district (which voted 84% for Obama), 54%-46% in Ed Markey’s 7th district (65% Obama) and 51%-49% in John Olver’s western Mass 1st district (64% Obama). He shows Coakley narrowly trailing in Barney Frank’s 4th district (63% Obama), where I think the Fall River precincts he didn’t count would have put Coakley narrowly ahead, and in Stephen Lynch’s 9th district (60% Obama) he shows her well behind but doesn’t include the Boston wards and precincts which may have put her ahead, although I rather doubt it.

"Anyway, there’s a pattern here: Coakley carries districts where Obama got 65% or more of the vote and runs essentially even in the district where he got 64%, and Scott Brown runs ahead in districts where Obama got less than 64% of the vote.

"Let’s extrapolate those numbers to the nation as a whole and assume that a district that voted 64% or more for Obama is safe for Democrats even under the most dire of circumstances. How many such districts are there? Answer, according to this source: 103...."

It's a sound analysis that should give Democrat officeholders great pause, especially after the Democrats lost the governorships of Virginia and New Jersey (states carried by Obama) last November.

BUT...by next November things should be even worse for those Democrat officeholders.

Polls showed that President Obama remained personally popular.

That should change.

Obama's personal popularity is based on the general willingness of Americans to give him the benefit of the doubt, the wickedness or willful blindness of the liberal media establishment in covering Obama, the wimpiness and ineptness of Fox News's Bill O'Reilly in "warring" with The New York Times on the spiking of an Obama/ACORN expose in October 2008 and the wariness of O'Reilly and others of questioning Obama's integrity and investigating ACORN's relationship with the Democrat Party.

With Obama greatly weakened politically but still following the lead of SEIU boss Andy Stern instead of the example of Bill Clinton, however, the truth should become more widely known and then the Far Left and Democrat officeholders will have MORE reason to groan.

As more and more voters learn that (1) Obama fooled them, (2) ACORN is an unofficial and corrupt arm of the Democrat Party, (3) Obama took up White House residence with the illicit assistance of ACORN and (4) Obama and Congressional Democrats are beholden to radical ACORN, SEIU and La Raza, the grasps of Democrat officeholders on their offices and the Far Left on control of the Democrat Party will loosen.

The sometimes buffoonish and foolish Glenn Beck has hampered the Obama Administration by attacking "progressives" generally and targeting Van Jones particularly, but he helped too, by joining O'Reilly in ridiculing "the birthers" instead of demanded that Obama stop hiding his birth certificate and ridiculously "joked" that Senator-elect Scott Brown could end up with "a dead intern" after Brown had become better known that Beck.

That said, "Radio Patriot" Andrea Shea King rightly lauded the often buffoonish Glenn Beck for the magnificent documentary of the history of the progressive movement with which he celebrated his first year as a Fox News host.

Ms. King:

"On Friday, Glenn Beck aired his much promoted documentary about the history of the progressive movement. It was stunning, and made many of us realize what we have NOT been taught in school. You need to watch this. And then teach your children that these people come out of the same mindset that occupies the hard left in our White House and Congress."

Documentary description at www.glennbeck.com: "A groundbreaking hour long special where Glenn Beck takes us back in time to examine the roots of socialism and communism and the evil that followed. We all know about the horrors of the holocaust where the pure evil Hitler inspired claimed the lives of millions of innocent people. But most do not know about the millions upon millions of lives lost in a different genocide of the Ukrainian people under the Stalin regime. This special also takes a look behind the iconic fashion symbol of Che Guevara showing that the myth doesn't tell the story of the man who was a blood thirsty killer. We meet a family who saw first hand what a monster the man was. They know the cost of communism and you will too when you hear their story, and who can forget about Mao Zedong? A leader responsible for 70-million deaths during his reign. All communist. All killers. We will show you things you've never seen but need to."

Beck is an egotistical fellow who's been played for a fool by radical Obamaton and ACORN 8 leader Marcel Reid, but he doesn't like progressives, Obama was the most liberal United States Senator (so said National Journal) and is America's most leftist president and Beck's documentary is a great public service that can serve as an antidote to the contamination of America's education system by the Far Left (e.g., Pentagon bomber and Obama ally Bill Ayers).

He has written extensively on political and religious issues, notably the Terry Schiavo case, the Duke "no rape" case, ACORN and canon law, and appeared as a guest on television and radio. He was acknowledged in Until Proven Innocent, by Stuart Taylor and KC Johnson, and Culture of Corruption, by Michelle Malkin. He appeared on "Your World With Cavuto" to promote an eBay boycott that he initiated and "The World Over With Raymond Arroyo" (EWTN) to discuss the legal implications of the Schiavo case. On October 22, 2008, Gaynor was the first to report that The New York Times had killed an Obama/ACORN expose on which a Times reporter had been working with ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief.
