Radical Norman Blizter versus ACORN Whistleblower and Ex-radical Anita MonCrief

The truth is Ms. MonCrief's sword AND shield. Only radicals and cowards are terrified as it is revealed.

The Far Left has a champion!

Right after ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief's "How This Reluctant Whistleblower Decided to Tell All" was promoted from the Green Room to a Hot Air feature, a Norman Blizter posted this comment:

"What’s going to happen when you find out conservatives and their groups are also just as corrupt? What ideology will you run to then?

"You had your 15 minutes of fame Anita, now go away!"

Note to Blizter: Thanks be to God, Ms. MonCrief is going on, not going away.

Another poster soon responded deftly to Blizter:

"Thank you for your well-put and highly intelligent response to Ms. MonCrief’s article. It’s not often that posters here take the time to put such great thought into their comments and yours should be held up as a shining example of liberal thought – particularly your wise use of attacking the messenger when there’s literally nothing else to offer in response.

"Should anyone here accuse you of being an empty-headed moron incapable of meaningful discourse, just ignore them and rely on the self-impression that you’re a highly intelligent and respected member of the liberal community."

Another poster insisted that Blizter has an important use:

"If there was no ugliness, (Norman Blizter) how would we recognize beauty? (Anita Moncrief)"

Please pray for Blizter.

Blizter needs your prays much more than Ms. MonCrief does...and I doubt he's getting many, like Anita surely is.

Ms. MonCrief's on the right path. She took up her Cross to do what is right.

Blizter is lost in Far Left field.

I know Ms. MonCrief's story. It's even more inspirational than those paying attention think.

It seems incredible, but it's true, because, with God, miracles are possible.

Blizter, Ms. MonCrief became a confidential source for The New York Times because she did NOT want fame.

Ms. MonCrief also became a confidential source of mine because she did NOT want fame.

Ms. MonCrief chose to volunteer to be a witness in the Pennsylvania ACORN case because The New York Times had killed the Obama/ACORN expose on which she had been working with New York Times national correspondent Stephanie Strom, not because she wanted 15 seconds of fame.

Both Ms. Strom and I explained to Ms. MonCrief that she needed to be identified for her story to be told.

Ms. MonCrief was NOT eager to be identified. For her, being publicly identified was a sacrifice, not a goal.

The other commenters at Hot Air enthusiastically and gratefully lauded Ms. MonCrief.

Examples:

"Anita – I recognize and am in awe of your courage and true grit. Thank you so much for speaking out and up. I love reading your writing here. God bless you."

"I can’t tell you how heartening it is to see that there are still people of integrity left in the world. Thank you."

"Thank you for your courage, and integrity. I can only hope that you inspire others to expose any corruption, wherever it may be.

"Be safe, and may God watch over you and your family."

"Anita, you are awesome beyond description. Thank God for you."

"Thank you for your convictions and bravery. It’s a scary, scary thing to paddle upstream against what seems like a raging tide.

"Welcome home."

"Anita, I am truly amazed of how brave you are. What a wonderful thing you are doing to bring the truth to the downtrodden who are continually abused by progressive 'whites.' Progressive whites who exploit indigent blacks while patting themselves on the back for their imaginary 'white guilt.' Imaginary white guilt that can identify with the racial prejudice experienced by people of color because, you see, we who experience white guilt are a wandering people who have been banished from every country on the face of the earth. BECAUSE WE HAVE CREATED A BIG GOVERNMENT MACHINE THAT THROWS THE TAX MONEY OUR WAY BY INCREASING WELFARE SO WE ARE GUARANTEED THE RENT REVENUES FOR THE GHETTOS WE OWN. WE WOULDN`T LIVE IN THOSE SLUMS BUT, HEY, MIGHT AS WELL VOTE IN THE PROGRESSIVES AND LINE MY OWN POCKETS ON THE TAXPAYERS DIME AT THE SAME TIME PUTTING A BLACK FACE ON THE ISSUE SO CONSERVATIVES WHO TRY TO POINT OUT MY EXPLOITATION OF THE BLACK MAN CAN BE LABELED RAAAAACIST!"

"Miss Moncrief, you made a difference and God bless you for it."

"Thank you very much for you actions Anita. I can’t imagine how hard it has been for you."

"It takes a great person to stand up for what is right, and to maintain that stance under pressure.

"I’m afraid that you will soon receive more vitriol from the resident trolls, but disregard that in recognition of the source.

"The truth is an absolute defen[s]e, but it can be a bitter pill to swallow."

"What marvelous courage you have, Anita. Your follow-through on your convictions is a blessing to us all.

"Excellent post Anita and a great story of personal courage."

"This story is powerful. It is frightening to me the amount of pressure these liberal groups can put on people.

"You are a woman of great character. I applaud you. Stay strong. The world needs more people like you.

"Thank you for sharing and being true to truths!!!"

"What amazing courage and character you have, Anita!"

"Ms. Moncrief, I hope you and your family are holding up well after such a stressful two years. I can’t begin to imagine. You’ll never be sorry for doing the right thing. There are indeed disreputable people on both sides of the aisle, the difference is that conservatives will demand they face the consequences and liberal consider it a resume enhancement. You seem to have good instincts, trust them."

"Anita, it was my pleasure to meet you personally at RightOnline in Pittsburgh. I can never thank you enough for your courage in the face of jackals such as Norman Blizter."

"I greatly admire you for the service you have done for our country. Yes, you have made a difference for those of us who are poor and powerless. What you have done by following your conscience, and by standing up for the truth and honesty, is a miracle. We need more people like you."

"Thank you Anita for exposing this corrupt organization. You have done a service to this country. While reading your latest column for HotAir, I’m reminded of the famous Thomas Jefferson quote, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”

"Truly great people are willing to take the arrows."

"Very brave Anita. My hat is off to you for standing behind your personal convictions. Your experience says as much about the NYT as ACORN. Be well!"

"Anita Moncrief, you are a Great American. Your courage and grace under fire is exemplary. Your story brought me to tears especially when you began to see the evil that Liberals do towards their fellow man in the name of 'helping' and 'service'. It takes intestinal fortitude to leave their false message. Welcome home."

"Anita, integrity is one goal we should all share… You are a woman of great integrity and character and a shining example of one who has sacrificed much on behalf of the truth. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

"Anita, thank you for your courage and may God bless you and keep you safe. What you have done and are doing is heroic and a great service to our country. We need more like you to step forward.

"You’re a very brave woman. Thank you and God bless."

"We’re in debt to you, Anita."

"Thanks, Anita! You’re a great American!"

"Congrats to the author for having the integrity and courage to do what is right. This is what makes this country great."

"note to Anita: You are a wonderful, remarkable, and unique woman.

"Our nation was promised 'change'. Unfortunately, most of that vague promise is turning out to be change for the worse.

"Change for the better stems from people like you who set themselves aside in order to pursue and illuminate truth.

"God bless and protect you."

"You have tremendous courage. You are a true patriot and have done a great service for this country. Many thanks!!!"

"Anita, very well done. I think we all can learn and benefit from your experience, I appreciate the courage you show in describing what are deeply personal issues. Kudos."

"Thank you Anita. Stay strong. I’m sure you have many people praying for you."

"You are a very brave woman Anita – keep up the good work and don’t let the wankers get you down. . . ."

"You are one courageous woman."

"Anita is my choice for being a Hero for the month!"

"Wow! Anita, you embody God’s Will through your courageous actions. You have shown us that we don’t need leaders. We are all leaders when we are meek."

"Courage I can only dream of. Thank you Anita."

"Thank you, Anita. A brave woman, a brave mom."

"Well done, Anita, and welcome."

"Thank you and may God Bless you and yours."

"Anita, I have long admired your courage. I first read about you and your story at MM’s site and I have followed you since. It is a pleasure to read your posts here at HA. I pray for you and your family and I look forward to hearing more from you. All the best."

"Pay your taxes and watch your six, Anita. Good on you."

"Anita, you are a brave and courageous woman. God bless you for standing up and speaking the truth.

"You and your family are forever in my prayers. We owe you a debt of gratitude. Thank you."

"Your story of doing the right thing despite the possibility of harm to you and those you love is inspirational."

"Anita…another name for character and honor. Your journey is inspirational, Thank You."

"Anita, thanks for your courage and investigative skills!"

"Gutsy lady. You’re an inspiration for my daughter and whole lot of other young women. Thank you for your display of courage and integrity."

"What you are doing is not a liberal/Conservative thing. It is a moral right/wrong thing. May God Bless and give you peace through this turmoil. If you let your inner voice guild you, all will be as it should. The truth will set you free. I can not thank you enough for what you are doing for us Americans. You have become one of my Heroes. Courage is not being fearless, it is going forth in spite of our fears. You embody that."

So true! Ms. MonCrief is courageous, not fearless, and observant, not oblivious.

One commenter is concerned that Ms. MonCrief is not enough:

"Exposing all this corruption so far seems to have changed nothing! Obama’s numbers are still so high! How can this be communicated to the fair minded left? I am still convinced the really corrupt are a minority. But they are so effective. They were smart to infiltrate the media to the degree they have. This is a coup of epic size and scope.

"Demonizing Fox News is a brilliant move by them and unless we can somehow overcome that the truth will be obscured by this one trick.

"What really needs to happen is for some other new outlet to take the same journey that this one brave woman has taken.

"CNN? ABC? Do any of them have enough people with souls to do what this woman has done? Until some institution in the left controlled media turns the truth will continue to be buried."

Last year CNN and ABC did not heed Ms. MonCrief.

But the truth is no longer buried. Blizter's comment shows that. As soon as Mr. MonCrief's article was promoted from the Green Room to HotAir feature, Blizter attacked.

That's REAL progress!

The truth is Ms. MonCrief's sword AND shield. Only radicals and cowards are terrified as it is revealed.
