Obama's Not Truthful; Media's OK with It

The truth is that the liberal media has used a huge double standard during the presidential campaign to promote the Obama campaign.

The liberal media is so intent on putting rookie United States Senator and current frontrunner for the 2008 Democrat presidential nomination Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. in the White House next January that it not only twists and exaggerates the significance of the remarks of his rival for that nomination, Hillary Rodham Clinton, but disregards or at least diminishes the significance of Obama's cunning lies.

Since Hillary refused to drop out of the race, Obama's fevered media supporters punished her by virtually treating her reference to the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy on the night of the June 1968 California Democrat presidential primary as a call for Obama's assassination.

Hillary's actual point was that the Democrat presidential nominee had not been decided upon before June 1968 (memorable for the RFK assassination on the night of the California Democrat presidential primary) or June 1992 (memorable for Bill Clinton securing the Democrat presidential nomination by winning the California Democrat presidential primary).

The truth is that the liberal media has used a huge double standard during the presidential campaign to promote the Obama campaign.

Obama became the Democrat presidential frontrunner because he was billed as a post-racial candidate and NOT scrutinized.

If Obama's connection to Rev. Wright had been publicized soon after The New York Times had reported in March 2007 that Obama have "disinvted" Rev. Wright to the public announcement of the Obama presidential campaign, Obama's campaign would have quickly collapsed and Hillary would have become the presumptive 2008 Democrat presidential nominee on the original Super Tuesday.

Race AND gender worked AGAINST Hillary and FOR Obama, as 1984 Democrat vice presidential nominee Geraldine A. Ferraro observed.

Obama has been falsifying his history during his long campaign.

On March 4, 2007, Obama went to Selma, Alabama and told a whopper, to make himself seem like the predestined presidential candidate: he said that the Selma March and JFK had inspired his birth.

But Obama was born in 1961 and the Selma March took place in 1965. (And the media made much of Hillary having said that she had been named after Sir Edmund Hillary, noted for climbing Mt. Everest, because he climbed it after she was born, as though it is significant after whom Hillary was named.)

And JFK's "airlift" from Kenya postdated the arrival in the United States of Obama's father.

Predictably, Obamamaniacs rail against "an overly-literal interpretation of Barack Obama's 2007.

This is what Obama said during his Selma speech:

"What happened in Selma, Alabama and Birmingham also stirred the conscience of the nation. It worried folks in the White House who said, 'You know, we're battling Communism. How are we going to win hearts and minds all across the world? If right here in our own country, John, we're not observing the ideals set fort in our Constitution, we might be accused of being hypocrites.' So the Kennedy’s decided we're going to do an air lift. We're going to go to Africa and start bringing young Africans over to this country and give them scholarships to study so they can learn what a wonderful country America is.

"This young man named Barack Obama got one of those tickets and came over to this country. He met this woman whose great great-great-great-grandfather had owned slaves; but she had a good idea there was some craziness going on because they looked at each other and they decided that we know that the world as it has been it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child. There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born. So don't tell me I don't have a claim on Selma, Alabama. Don't tell me I’m not coming home to Selma, Alabama."

Barack, your claim IS bogus.

You were born years BEFORE the Selma March.

Your father came to the United States years BEFORE JFK took up residence in the White House.

You LIED, Barack.

MSNBC's Chris Matthews says that Obama is a Christian because he says so and is apoplectic that a Newsweek poll showed that one-third either think Obama is Muslim or don't know what his religion is.

But Barack lies and a person (especially an ambitious politician with atheist parents) claiming to be Christian doesn't make that person a Christian, Chris.

Obama's father was a Muslim who became an atheist. Obama's mother was an atheist. Obama claimed that Rev. Jeremiah A. "God damn America" Wright. Jr. brought him to Christ, later claimed that he would no more "disown" Rev. Wright than he would disown the Black Community or his white grandmother; and long after disowned Rev. Wright as a matter of political necessity.

Why believe what Obama says when it's politically expedient for him to say it?

Especially when Obama continues to falsify.

Obama has no military experience, and neither did his parents.

Running without military experience against Hillary isn't a big handicap, because neither Hillary nor her husband has any either.

But running without military experience against John Sidney McCain, a genuine war hero whose father and grandfather were admirals, IS problematic for young Obama.

So Obama invoked and misstated the military experience of a great uncle on his mother's side who fought on the American side in World War II and participated in the liberation of a labor camp near the end of that war.

Remember the media frenzy when Hillary said (falsely) that she had been under sniper fire in Bosnia?

At least Hilary had been in Bosnia when Bosnia was a war zone.

Obama claimed (falsely) that his great uncle was his uncle.

Obama claimed (falsely) that his "uncle" had helped liberate Auschwitz.

The Red Army liberated Auschwitz.

DID Obama have another relative fighting with the Red Army when it liberated Auschwitz?

I doubt it.

BUT Raila Odinga, the Prime Minister of Kenya, Obama's father's homeland, was educated in EAST Germany during the Cold War, he claims to be Obama's cousin and Obama has supported him, even campaigning for him in Kenya.

The truth about Obama's family and Kenyan connections SHOULD be known, of course, but instead of investigating and informing, the liberal media is promoting its far leftist political agenda, without remorse.
