I'd Like To Give You A Swift Kick...

Apparently, Mr. McHugh feels that the arrest of 220 illegal aliens on criminal charges, including the theft of the identities of American Citizens is just a minor annoyance. Imagine if 220 people were arrested on criminal charges at Fox News, Halliburton, or WalMart in one day. What if KBR or Raytheon employed 220 identity thieves? Liberals would blow a gasket.

On December 12th, 2006, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided several Swift & Co. meat packing plants throughout the West and Midwest. At the time of the raids, there were 65 pending criminal charges. That number has now swelled to over 200, including many arrests for identity theft. Many of these companies hold profits more sacred than anything. Just ask Swift & Company spokesman Sean McHugh. In a statement to the Denver Post on January 5th, 2006, Mr. McHugh said he believesthat the problem is not as bad as it appears, and that we need to keep the numbers in perspective. He said that federal agents subpoenaed employment forms for more than 14,000 workers, and conducted raids on one shift, which encompassed 7,500 workers. He went on: "So we're comparing 220 to much bigger numbers reflecting the company's overall employment".

The immigration problem, much like the war in Iraq, will never be solved, unless and until the leadership of this country somehow finds the political will to make tough choices. This includes not just raiding businesses, but prosecuting the employers for violations of immigration law. For over thirty years, we have looked the other way at illegal immigration. The system has been prostituted to such an extent, that as long as an alien shows an SSN that appears to be valid, you're not allowed to question it. It's no secret that the system is slanted in favor of the aliens, so let's stop pretending, OK?

Now that we have allowed it to get so far out of hand, we are being thwarted from even enforcing the more modest measures, such as employment verification or a border fence.

The American people have been sending a message to Congress since even prior to the 1986 amnesty to stop the flow of illegal immigration. Congress has ignored those pleas. No, Congress has thwarted every enforcement effort while winking at the illegals and telling them to not worry about it, that help is on the way in the form of comprehensive immigration reform.

This country has now absorbed more immigration --legal and illegal-- in the last forty years, than in the entire history of Ellis Island. We have gone from 220 million to 300 million people in just over twenty years. Our natural resources are dwindling, while our population is exploding. Liberals constantly harp on our destruction of the environment, but what about their contribution to it's destruction through the one hundred million strong flood of humanity that the US Senate led by Ted Kennedy nearly tossed in our lap last May? They're silent about that, because they support it. It doesn't matter to the hypocrites that another hundred million people will stress our country to the breaking point, because the social justice they seek for the downtrodden will make them feel all better.

If we do not put a stop to illegal immigration, our country will soon either implode under the burden of illegals, or explode under attack from terrorists. Take your pick...

Just today, at the Port of Miami, a truck driver was stopped and questioned. Two “Middle Eastern” males were discovered inside the truck and detained[1]. I've made this point many times before, but for those who may have missed it, there is absolutely nothing to stop Middle Eastern fighting age males from shaving their beards, learning a few words of Spanish, and trading their headscarf for a sombrero in order to sneak into the country as a migrant berry picker, and detonate a dirty bomb in a major city. Think it's far-fetched? Tune into my radio broadcast on Wednesday January 10th, 2007, and I will explain some of the threats to this country posed by some immigrant rights groups and their sympathic stance towards those who attacked us on September 11th, and those who continue to attack our soldiers in Iraq to this day.

To those businesses individuals, or politicians that condone, facilitate, enable, or are even indifferent to illegal immigration, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. You deserve a swift kick in the rear for your prostitution of the rule of law, and the placement of your financial, emotional, and political well-being above the security of your own country.

One of these days that illegal alien whose presence you are indifferent to is going to blow the bejesus out of someone or something with an explosives laden vehicle, or a dirty bomb.

As the world becomes more dangerous, and more and more countries bang the drum for the destruction of the West, starting with us, there simply is no room for compromise on the security of this nation.

Notes:  1. Further investigation revealed that the truck driver and his passengers were a Lebanese and 2 Iraqis, all legal residents, however they raised suspicion because they were caught sneaking past a checkpoint, and trying to enter the port. The driver initially said he was alone
