If justice is to be served, it must be done so swiftly and decisively.

In Attorney General Sessions, we have the equivalent of a Poodle instead of the needed Pit Bull.

While the Justice Department desperately needs strong and effective leadership capable of decisive action, instead it has Sessions who appears completely lost, devoting what "energy" he can muster to lesser issues while the "silent coup" of the Left moves forward unopposed within government agencies.

The "deep state" corruption inherited from the Obama Administration is the gravest threat to our Constitutional Republic since its founding. Yet Sessions is content to allow the statute of limitations to run out on high crimes while he fiddles with a crisis at hand. For whatever reason, Sessions has shown himself completely incapable of doing the job needed at the DoJ.

If AG Sessions has a scintilla of the ethics, honor, and integrity he claims to have, he will tender his resignation immediately so that Trump can put someone in charge who has the capacity to make clear, concise, intelligent, and timely decisions. AG Sessions has failed on those accounts and he's not just failed, he's failed miserably.

Sessions' failures have allowed "deep state" players within the DoJ and FBI to continue their seditious acts.

Sessions allowed the appointment of a conflicted Special Prosecutor by a deeply conflicted Deputy AG. His recusal never covered his duty to assure the public that obviously tainted individuals were not put in charge of the most critical task facing the DoJ in the early days of the Trump administration.

In short, Sessions' inability to perform his duties and live up to his obligations to the public has aided and abetted the very corruption Trump expected him to swiftly prosecute.

While the tainted Mueller "team" investigates everything but the blatant collusion with Russia by the Clinton campaign and the DNC to impact the 2016 election, members of Congress argue about the degree to which a salacious fictitious document was pertinent to obtaining FISA warrants from the FISC.

Nobody is claiming that the Clinton campaign and DNC didn't collude with foreign agents to create a false dossier used by the FBI and DoJ to spy on the Trump campaign with the objective of influencing a Clinton victory in the 2016 presidential election. Yet Mueller is entirely myopic when it comes to this obviously blatant activity he has been charged to investigate!

And Deputy AG Rosenstein refuses to reign in Mueller and instruct him to address these issues. Why is that?

Attorney General Sessions should fire Mueller and put Rosenstein on unpaid leave until this sordid matter is sorted out by a new and truly independent Special Counsel.

Yet, day after day, our AG does nothing to address this serious problem and the threat to our nation it represents.

If justice is not served on Hillary Clinton for her repeated, long-term national security breaches (and all of her aides who were complicit with her), then such activity is only encouraged in the future. If there is no punishment and no justice for the American People against which high crimes have been committed, then this nation is doomed to a swift and unpleasant demise.

Criminal activity of trusted federal agents must not be protected by overclassifying information exposing such corruption.

These problems can only be addressed by a firm, swift, intelligent Attorney General who will take decisive actions with a clear objective and deadline. Sessions is not the man for that job. The survival of our Constitutional Republic depends on the actions Trump now takes to fix this serious problem.

It is entirely irrelevant whether Sessions is a "nice guy" or was a good Senator. He was a very poor choice for Attorney General and he has amply proven that he is incapable of being an advocate for swift and appropriate justice for the rampant criminal activity within government agencies in Washington.

As every good executive knows, you fix your mistakes, you don't tolerate or try to hide them or they'll just be compounded.

Sessions' latest evidence of very poor judgment in tasking the IG with a job that requires an investigator who has authority to prosecute should be the last straw.

Trump needs to act swiftly to replace Sessions.

We need to hear Trump say, "Attorney General Sessions, you're fired!" and Trump should remove Rosenstein at the same time, putting him on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the investigation of Rosenstein's participation in the use of illegally-obtained FISA warrants.

Mueller should be encouraged, publicly, to remove himself as Special Counsel by citing his long list of conflicts that would have motivated a man of integrity and honesty to not take on the task in the first place. If Mueller refuses to resign, he should be fired.

This country needs the swift appointment and confirmation of a new Attorney General who will take on the job of Attorney General like a Pit Bull.

We don't need another Poodle as our Attorney General.
