US News Media Out of Touch with the People
Polls consistently show that over 90% of news media reporters/journalists identify with and support liberal Democrat politics. Yet a Reuters five day moving average poll on November 27 reveals a significantly higher portion of people identify as "Conservative" (nearly 50%) than as "Liberal" (less than one-third).
Note that the average over the past month indicates the most recent trend reveals a continued shift away from Liberal/Left support and toward Conservative/Right support. A continuation of this trend does not bode well for Democrat candidates and their friends in the news media and academia.
This trend explains why, during the CNBC debate debacle, the audience had such a strong reaction of agreement with Sen. Cruz's observation that the news media are Democrats biggest Political Action Committee (PAC).
Just as the American people are fed up with political correctness (which explains much of Donald Trump's strong support), they are just as fed up with the obscene bias in the American news media.
For some examples of how corrupt the American news media have become, read American News Media ARE the Democrat Party's Biggest PAC.
Add this corruption to the decline of the public education system in the United States and it is easy to understand why so many younger Americans have no understanding of our constitutional republic or early American history.
Given the pervasive bias in media and academia in support of the liberal/leftist agenda, it is amazing that a healthy majority of Americans understand and identify with Conservative views (fiscal responsibility, constitutional governance and free-market economics).

Biography - Bob Webster
Author of "Looking Out the Window", an evidence-based examination of the "climate change" issue, Bob Webster, is a 12th-generation descendent of both the Darte family (Connecticut, 1630s) and the Webster family (Massachusetts, 1630s). He is a descendant of Daniel Webster's father, Revolutionary War patriot Ebenezer Webster, who served with General Washington. Bob has always had a strong interest in early American history, our Constitution, U.S. politics, and law. Politically he is a constitutional republican with objectivist and libertarian roots. He has faith in the ultimate triumph of truth and reason over deception and emotion. He is a strong believer in our Constitution as written and views the abandonment of constitutional restraint by the regressive Progressive movement as a great danger to our Republic. His favorite novel is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and believes it should be required reading for all high school students so they can appreciate the cost of tolerating the growth of unconstitutional crushingly powerful central government. He strongly believes, as our Constitution enshrines, that the interests of the individual should be held superior to the interests of the state.
A lifelong interest in meteorology and climatology spurred his strong interest in science. Bob earned his degree in Mathematics at Virginia Tech, graduating in 1964.
